Happy Monday!

Laundry Day!(isn't that washer fantastic?)
Today I am going to be working on my laundry. I have quite a few loads to catch up on. Yesterday was Father and Daughter day--the Baseball team, the Atlanta Braves (Remember my husband is Georgia Boy)were playing out here against the Padres. Kevin asked if I would like to go---No way...LOL--I am so not into sports---it is fun for about the first half hour and then after that--I want to go home--and then I would be holding a wiggly baby---why would I put myself through that....anyway, he took Alexis--and as I hear it, they had, Hotdogs, french fries, snow cones, and cotton candy---oh my!!...LOL

After the baby woke up up from his nap--I filled the pool up and we sat in it together and we played while I tried to soak up some sun---while I can still fit in my bathing suit.

We had a very nice weekend, I hope you all did too. Still no checks---let me clarify something from my last post---I know that the stimulus checks are being delivered by SS numbers, and my husband's happens to be last---I was trying to explain, that we filed as soon as we got his w2's and we filed through H and R block rapid refund (turbo I think) which was a third party, so instead of getting our stimulus direct deposit in May, we have to wait for the paper check. That check I know will come soon--it is the other check that is trying my patience----I am working on my gentleness---I really am:)

In my side bar, I put up a poll about seasons--it looks like Fall is ahead--it is my absolute favorite season--I love it. I can not wait to put *Fred* back outside--remember my Scarecrow.
I am going to work on my laundry today--and Alexis has a playdate today too. Tony called me and he is having a nice time---I don't want to harp on him while he is away, but I sure hope he shaves that beard off. I will probably go to my Grandmother's tomorrow because I have not been there since Thursday--and I am sure her grocery list is growing.

I hope everyone has a wonderful week and I adore all your blogs that I visit--also, thank you all so very much for taking the time to comment on my blog---I have to say, they are a bright spot and make me smile so much. I don't have a comment moderation--I have only deleted about 4 comments on my blog ever, and that is because they were those weird spam ones about the lottery or payday loans----I was wondering why some of you have comment moderation and comments that have to be approved, do you all get spammed alot? I am just curious--sometimes, I can not figure out what the word moderation is on some blogs and have to do it three times, after that I give up--so sometimes, I want to comment, but the moderation is not playing nice...LOL. Okay this post was supposed to be about laundry--so between laundry cycles I will be visiting blogs too.

I haven't gotten spammed in quite awhile, but I was...

And I'm doing laundry today, too!

Sounds like Kevin and Alexis had a wonderful day! She'll always remember that.

I love that old washer! Is it yours? Wouldn't it look cute in the laundry room? Not to really wash with...could you imagine? :-)

Thank you for the Borthday wishes for myself and 3 rd old BIG boy. :) I feel you on the comment moderation yet I have it up myself. LOL The day I asked how to delete comments that I believe you answered I had 6 spam comments within 5 min. Since blogspot has a ticker with newly updated blogs on the main site I guess they were just watching and waiting. I haven't had any since the comment mod.

I really need to get to stepping but baby and I have just been lounging the day away. My family is coming to visit next week though so i have to whip thsi house into shape at some point.

Glad your weekend was nice! Send me some of your ooomph energy please. tee-hee

My husbands ss # is the very end too. I got my letter today- well my letter states that they kept all my money for past due taxes :(
Yours will probably be there very soon. And yes, I was getting spammed a whole lot so I changed mine. I can't read the letters half the time either.

I've got laundry on the agenda for tomorrow. It piles up so quickly!

I love that washer in your pic. It reminds me of the one that my grandma had. I remember helping her pull the clothes through the ringer and hanging them out on the line to dry. :)

I hope you get your check soon.

Hi Julieann. I love your blog and read it everyday. I wanted to vote on your favorite season poll but when I tried it wouldnt go through. I get a Website Cant Not Be Found error message. I wanted to vote winter, because it is my favorite season.

Hope the laundry goes quick. I really like doing laundry but sometimes I wish that I had a maid. Just kidding.lol

I have the same problem on some blogs with the comment moderator. I have to try several times and sometimes it isn't nice to me either. Have a great day, Julieann. connie from Texas

The washer is so cute. I haven't gotten spammed but I put moderated comments on just in case. I have taken it off. I didn't know it caused people to have problems.
I am glad your daughter and husband had a great time. Have a wonderful day.

It sounds like Kevin and Alexis had a wonderful time! That dad/daughter relationship is SOOO important. A girl really needs affirmation and affection from her daddy...it keeps her grounded in those teen years and she doesn't go seeking it from other males...as I'm sure you know but just got off on a tangent! (I have 4 girls 10-16yrs old). My kids always have tons of junk when out with dad too...I sometimes start to comment about not eating all that junk then just zip my lip about it. :P Your pool pictures with the kids are awfully cute. :) If I haven't already told you...CONGRATULATIONS on your pregnancy! This past year has gone by in a flash and little Kevin has grown into a little boy soo quickly! have a great day!

I don't get any negative comments, but I've had a few of those weird spam messages you mentioned. Also, occasionally, someone will comment, and I'm not sure if they're just trying to sell something to my readers. I don't use comment moderation because I haven't had many problems. I think some of the more visible blogs about homemaking do get a lot of negative comments, and I'm sure that's why some of those bloggers use comment moderation.

I enjoyed your post about the cost of groceries now. It sounds like you're doing very well -- especially with the meat! I will keep your tips in mind. I have noticed a rise in my total grocery bill lately, and I need to analyze where it's coming from. Milk here has gone way up, for one thing. I shop at our neighborhood Wal-Mart (grocery only) because I determined that's where I generally get the best prices, but maybe I need to do some scouting around.

Oh I love the washer..my grandmother had one similar to that when I was younger. I always thought it was cool and I loved running the wet clothes through the ringer!

Have A Beautiful & Blessed Day!
