Taco Soup
Serves 6 to 8
Ingredients:
1 large onion, diced
1 pound ground beef
1 package taco seasoning
I can corn, with liquid
I small can Ortega diced chiles
½ cup Pace Picante Sauce
2 cans (14 oz.) stewed diced tomatoes
1 can (14 oz.) tomato sauce
2 large cans pinto beans, drained
Sauté onion and ground beef; drain.
Add taco seasoning.
Add tomatoes, corn, olives, and kidney beans, all with liquid.
Simmer 30 minutes.
Serve with garnishes: sour cream, green onions, grated cheese, avocado, and tortilla chips.
This would also be great in the crockpot, for CROCKTOBER tee hee!!!
