~~~~~~~~~~~~ I can not wait to share with you what I got my husband for Christmas...LOL :)
I know I said I would post yesterday....BUT, my little boy kept me up off and on all night, poor baby! He had a fever and was throwing up......OH, boy!! I was living on coffee yesterday :) He is better today, not well, but better...he is starting to eat again. I will be homebound until he is better. He is laying on the couch watching cartoons right now. Bless his little heart, he is such a good boy!!
Have a wonderful day everyone!
I will be just doing housework and such......getting ready for Jesus's Birthday :)
There is sometimes not enough time in the day for everything I want to do. I can't say too much about the gifts I am giving, because my family reads here...LOL...so you will all have to wait.
I have been doing what you all are probably doing, shopping, wrapping, cleaning, baking, visiting, etc.... :) I am so enjoying the Christmas season here in Georgia!
I am trying to decide on what kind of cake to make for Jesus's birthday...what kind are you making this year?
I am actually going to be home all day tomorrow catching up on things, so I will write another post. I have everything ready to hand to the trashman and recycle man tomorrow....They come at the same time each week, so hopefully I can catch them to give them their little gift :) I have so much to do at the moment, I am going to go wrap some more gifts...I will see you all in the morning XO XO
I am going to be busy today...hence, the busy bee photo...LOL.
I have laundry going....I finished up all my Christmas cards....I need to clean bathrooms, do some baking, all the fun stuff that goes along with being a SAHM.
Well, after adjusting my lights yesterday, I think it did the trick..they stayed on with nothing blowing out.
I took ground beef out for dinner, so it will either be meatloaf or pasta bake.
After disabling comments on a certain post that just gets spam comments that are out of control, and putting up word modification, I did not get one spam comment this morning. I usually wake up with my email flooded with spam comments for this blog.......This morning, nothing, Yay!!
Now, for a cup of coffee with sugar cookie creamer, Happy Friday!!!
Okay, the 4th time has to work...I have re-done my lights outside 4 times now. They keep blowing out. I am running out of lights...LOL. I wonder what my neighbors are thinking, as my lights outside keep changing on a daily bases...LOL.
On another note, I put up the word modification in the comments section, because the comments are out of control..I get about 100 comments a day from a certain company spamming my site. I want to write them and ask them to stop this. Anyway, hopefully this will stop it and in a few days I can take the word modification down.....
I have bread rising in the oven right now, and I am going to make pork chops for dinner.
I also have a question, I have a computer in my kitchen and I like to watch youtube videos as I cook....Do any of you watch vloggers, do you have any channels to suggest? TIA :)
I am slow roasting ribs all day today. The house smells really good.
I have been working on the lights outside, oh, boy...I can not wait until it gets dark to see what it looks like. We put the lighted deer out last week..then I filled in a bush, and then another bush..then I did the front door. Over the weekend, Kevin put the lights over the over hang...and then, today..I filled in more bushes and the two porch banisters. I am sure the lights are like a mushroom to our neighbors...the lights keep growing and growing...LOL.
Today I am devoting my day to cleaning! I already cleaned two toilets, I have 3 more to go. I have my daughter's bedding in the wash....
I am about to start vacuuming the upstairs and the stairs. I have totally been working on decorating the house for Christmas..it is coming along nicely:)
My dinners this week have been very simple, my husband has been out of town all week, so the dinners have been kid friendly. Last night we had roasted chicken and pasta
salad..things like that. It has been quite cold here, and I am loving it.
I ventured out to Khol's yesterday...if you are on my facebook, you know all about my Kohl's adventure...LOL. Never shopped there and had Kohl's cash..and didn't know how to use them...then I get there and they have two different entrances/ exits..that look identical, mind you...when I got out to the parking lot..I thought my car was stolen....oh, well everything ended well, I found my car and made it home. :)
I also went to Walmart and bought eight Charger plates in red...they look beautiful under my Christmas plates. I just need to find some Napkin rings that match everything :)
Pasta Bake is for dinner tonight, something easy :)
I am getting everything ready for Thursday, I have all the bathrooms cleaned....stairs vacuumed and I am starting to set up the tables..I need Kevin's help bringing up the kitchen table from the basement. I am going to place that kitchen table next to the other kitchen table, so we have one long table for the food. It will be buffet style. I also have the dining room table too......
I am going to bake the cookies today, but everything that can be premade will be made tomorrow.
Don't forget to thaw your turkey!!! LOL...I know about this...LOL...
Happy Monday! Here are some pictures of some of our dinners we had.
This one is pork chops, mashed potatoes, blackeyed peas
I made some macaroni and cheese one night
Along with this, my husband picked these up at the Kroger, stuffed beef, chicken and pork.....I don't know if anyone really liked them. I don't eat much meat, if any, so I can't say how these taste.....I know my husband was not impressed with it......
This night we had London Broil on the grill, loaded baked potatoes, and some peas.
This dinner was baked skinless, boneless chicken breast, buttered noodles, and steamed broccoli and carrots.
All the dinners you see were all served with a nice green salad..I am sure you all know what my salad looks like..LOL..I have posted pictures of it a zillion times...LOL
Have a wonderful day :) If there is something you would like me to take a picture of let me know!
