I remember taking my babies to see my Grandma! So much fun, so much pride . . . I sure do miss my Grandma. You are so blessed to live close enough to yours to visit often! :)
Doesn't it just make you smile to see your children with your grandma? My only living grandparent is my mom's mom- Grandmother, we call her. We last visited her in May. She has "dementia" (doctors haven't formally said alzheimers). She had no idea who we were, but she DID recognize Elizabeth!!! It was strange. It was the first time she met Elizabeth, but one of my aunts had been telling her all about Elizabeth and showing her pictures. I just cried when we walked in the room and she lit up and said "Oh Elizabeth! You did come to see me after all!!" I got some wonderful pictures. I just wish Elizabeth would really get to know her.
