Update: This picture does not do what I really see justice--the moon is bright red!!
Update---I finally got through to my husband--the fires that are near, are backfires--thank goodness--please forgive my worrisome post below:(
They are now entering San Clemente---AHHH----I don't know what to do, they closed down the freeway too. My husband is stuck who knows where, I keep getting his voicemail---and--they have not said anything about school--ugh---I am at a loss right now. Trying not to show fear in front of your children is rather quite difficult!

I can't imagine what a scary time this must be for y'all. I'm so glad that you heard from your husband. Please know that y'all continue to be in my thoughts and that I am lifting you up in prayer. Big hugs, Susan P.
Please take care and know that you have all of our prayers. Trying to be strong in front of your children is sometimes so hard. And, obviously, no need to apologize for your worry!!!
Glad to hear everything is still alright! You must have been so relieved to hear from your husband! Keep safe and keep us updated.

Oh, I am so sorry you are going through this! I am thankful that your husband is fine and your home is not in danger. My heart goes out to all the famlies that are having to evacuate. I pray for the safety of the fire fighters too.
Keep us posted. I pray you will be fine.
Hugs! Sharon

Julieann, hope you are doing well. Am keeping you (and lots of of Californians) in my prayers that everyone keeps safe during this most difficult time.
Blessings,
Paula
((Julieann)) ~ I've not been online for a few days. I was watching the news late last night and realized how very close the fires were to you! I've been praying for you and your family. May the Lord keep His protective arms about you all. Stay safe, my friend!
Hi Julieann...I know how you feel...we had a huge fire here about 3 years ago....many homes burnt down...it was very stressful and hard not to worry...it was a beautiful, eerie scene at night....but not really beautiful I guess if you think about the damage that it was doing! We kept the windows and doors shut and had to stay inside with the AC on...it was like standing beside a campfire with the wind blowing the smoke into your face...but thank God everyone was okay..as that's what is the only thing that is important when it comes right down to it!
ps...will keep you in our prayers...and those in your area!
=)
Hi Julieann..I am praying that you and your family stay safe. I can't even imagine...it is horrible about the fires and my heart and prayers go out to everyone in CA. So sad...
