I stopped at the .99 cent store, and they really have a great selection of books. Books are so important. I read to my children everyday.
I paid .99 cents but look how much they would have been at a regular book store---$6.99---wow!!!
This is a book about Winnie the Pooh---he is searching for honey---where is Winnie??
POP!!! Here he is...LOL. Winnie pops up on every page looking for his honey. Little Kevin just loves this page of the book---Look at all the pretty colors.

I am so jealous! There are not any dollar stores within a reasonable drive in my area. I bet they have great deals on art supplies too!
I cleaned up on books at a Mom2Mom sale last weekend, though. :-)

I love the dollar store. Its nice to take Kiera there and know whatever she picks out isn't going to hurt my purse. We always find books at ours too. And cute holiday decorations too.

And the cell phone thing--It has gotten totally out of hand, I agree. I don't use my all that much, because I am at home more than anywhere. I understand the need for them. But--the grocery store! You see some people talk on them all the way through the store! What are they talking about? I love the ones with the earpieces--look like they are talking to the air in front of them1 Madness!!
YOur new book is precious. Reading is one of the best things you can do for a child--even a little one like Baby Kevin!
Your books are cute...and SO colourful! Would you look at the Canadian price on that book!?!?! Now that our dollar is actually higher than the American $ instead of 30 cents lower...maybe we'll see some of those benefits trickle down to us the (Canadian)consumer...? Ya never know I guess!
As a former librarian & a mom, I can honestly say, "I LOVE BOOKS"! One can never have enough...

Thank you all!!! The books are so fantastic---also, if you hit the library at the right time, you can get some great books for .10 cents. I got my Little House books for such a great price---I had them forever, and then gave them away when I moved years ago--What was I thinking??!!! Well, hopefully they blessed there new owners--now, I have them back woohoo:)
