Everyday is laundry day at my house--well, it has to be if I want to keep a handle on it. When I was sick, I let it go for a few days, boy did it pile up---We have so much to wash, clothes, towels, bedding, rugs, kitchen towels, etc--it adds up. There is nothing nicer then fresh, clean laundry:)A few years back Michael's had these baskets for 10.00 on sale for 1.99--I bought 5:) I wish I had bought more, because there are so many things you can do with them--I use one for my crocheting--and then I have one in each bedroom for everyones laundry--plus I think they look nice, especially empty..LOL:)

Hello, Julieann! Just a thought for you -- in the past before infant seats and the like, women would fill laundry baskets like those with blankets and put their little babies in them to carry them outside or around the house. I wonder if Ma Ingalls ever did that?
Every day is laundry day here too. Between the farm and the boys it keeps me jumping. lol
