Here is an update on my Sourdough Starter~~~~>

This picture is day 5....and on Friday it will be day 7, and I will bake my bread. The bubbles were so much in the beginning and now there aren't any this morning. I will keep doing this and if I fail, I will try again:)

Can you post the recipe for your sourdough starter? I've been curious on how to start one.

Did you stir your sour dough starter with a metal spoon? That could cause a problem, I think. I have only done a whole wheat sour dough starter and it turned out great. I was always concerned about the liquid, but read it is normal. I don't think the lack of bubbles on day 5 is a big deal...they will be back I am sure ;)
