F R I D A Y!

YaY!

I can not believe it is Friday already-----did I get everything done on my list----not yet---I am ever optimistic in my quest for the perfect home---*Cough*-- Perfect for me:)

I did make my appointment for our professional portraits done--that will be done in Mid November--I am excited---now to figure out what we are all going to wear. We are doing it at JC Penny--I got a really great coupon for it.

I am having some trying times with my teenager right now---oh boy, these teenage years are tough----I just keep reminding myself , this too shall pass--I soooooo had my difficult year with my father--and do I ever feel guilty for being such a brat at times to him when I was a teenager--but it is nice to talk to other moms with teenagers and knowing that I am not alone, and they do grow out of it--but boy did he throw some zingers at me yesterday. Do you think you could say a little pray for my son ---Please, I need all the help I can get right now.

I went and bought some cleaning products today at Walmart--and I also bought a really big pumpkin---ohhh, I hope it is full of a lot of seeds.

I would suggest solid colors and trying to keep everyone in the same color if possible. White shirts always look crisp & clean. You can also dress them up or down depending on what you wear for bottoms. Take a look at the Penney's website. There are some good examples on there. Make sure you get Smiles by Wire (you'll get it free if you do a Collection) so you can share with all of us. Also, there are some really sweet Christmas cards this year. My favorite is the one that holds 5 different portraits.

Julieann I will pray for your teen if you pray for mine. Last week I had to go to court because he got a ticket for smoking cigarettes, yesterday in the mail I recieved a letter from his school saying he has 43 tardys and 5 absents. I have only allowed him to stay home 1 half day. He is doing good academically but his decision making is bad.

I'm keeping you and your son in my prayers, Julieann.

My granddaughter cut her hair (both times) while she was staying with her daddy.

I love Walmart too, I just don't like going out when its raining. lol

Oh Julieanne., teens are hard. Boys ( at least for me) is harder.

My son is 23, and even though he lives on his own sometimes there are still trying times.

He does apologize a lot now for those 15+ years while he was at home. I was a single mom in those teen years too!

Definitely have both of you in prayer.

We got a great big Walmart pumpkin too. In addition to the local farm ones.

Hi Julieann,
I put Tony on my prayer list...his dear Mama too. You're absolutely right about it passing...it will. Remember you're not in it alone. Isaiah 43:5...."I will not leave you, nor forsake you." That thought never fails to comfort me.
We need to have our pictures done too. Where did you find your coupons for Penneys portrait studio? We are going to do either all denim with black and white or khaki with black and white.
Please pray for my friend. He had to leave his family and go to a neighboring state to find work, as he was laid off. While he was gone, his father had complications with his health and died suddenly. My friend is in such shock and is totally gripped with grief. It was a hard time for them without the loss of their Dad/grandpa. Not sure he was saved. Please pray for my friend and his family. His name is Wally. Thanks so much.
Yours in Christ,
Jen
