A Couple Questions:

I took Kevin on his walk this afternoon and we went into the used bookstore--they had this book for 1.00, I bought it---Kerygma--The Bible In Depth. It is a study guide--have any of you heard of this book--Thoughts?

Also---what are your thoughts on
SuperMom vitamins--I want to purchase these and was wondering if any of you have opinions on these--good/bad--I want to hear?

Thank you so much:)

Hi,
Some will probably have benefited greatly from the Supermom vitamin. I am sure the ingredients are great, especially if you don't eat the way we should: mostly vegetables, fruits, whole grains, with 20 percent of intake being protein! I was so chronically fatigued, even with the vitamin. Fed up, I googled 'healing from fatigue' and found food combining resources. Went to my doctor, demanded my blood be tested for every 'other' possible cause of fatigue (just so I could be clear in my own mind about what I'm going to share here). I am in perfect health (thank God). So....what is food combining? Well, most resources tell you a vegetarian outlook. Not me. I like my meat. However, ont he program, 70 percent of daily food intake is fruit and vegetables!! I have proteins of all kinds: fish, chicken, beef and nuts. My energy levels soar now. I quit coffee and white sugar, but do enjoy 2 cups of black tea in the day. I have no need for the vitamin, which, as I said: if you eat our 'western way' here...you will need. In our country, starches outweigh everything else on the plate. So....I realize this turned into a sermon (lol!!), but I am very passionate in sharing this. Up the leafy greens until you are sick of them! Then find creative ways to keep eating them. Limit the portion of meat and proteins (seriously). Get outdoors in the sun, so the vitamin A can get in your system. Without the sunshine, our bodies cannot absorb calcium. (i.e. the dark greens I mentioned). In two weeks I was transformed.

Otherwise, the vitamin may be a good thing. Not everyone is going to chuck the way they eat like I did. I just got fed up with not feeling well. Vitamins are not the 'cure all'. Without an active, healthy (eating) lifestyle, it can't really do anything.

I've been taking the Super Mom vit for about two weeks now and am very happy to report much higher energy levels. Even on days when I don't sleep well, my energy levels are higher with these vits. Also, since my diet is healthy and well-balanced, I only take one vit, instead of two/day.
