Friday!

Happy Friday!

Getting ready for Easter. I will be making a ham dinner for Easter:) I will make of course with it, deviled eggs, salad, asparagus, some sort of potato dish, Macaroni and Cheese, and veggies.

I will post exactly what I make with pictures:) I love the green bean casserole, but it seems I am the only one that eats it, and it is my favorite. I also want to make potato salad.

I also have Kevin's Birthday Party to get ready for the following Saturday. He is turning 4. 4!!??? Can you believe it? I sure can not.

The weather here has been chilly, high 50's low 60's. My husband was in Northern California this week, and he got back last night at dinner time. I love it when he is home. I am sure he is glad to be home, after traveling for vacation and then work, I am sure he is traveled out for awhile..LOL.

Last night's dinner we had pork chops, mashed potatoes, peas, and a salad. Tonight's dinner will be Tacos.

I bought a new toilet cleaner, the Kaboom Foamtastic Toilet Bowl Cleaner, and I really like it. I love the smell of clean.

Oh, I almost forgot, Awhile back, I am not sure if I mentioned it, but Kevin got me a steam cleaner. We used it when we got it, and then this week, I used it again. I did Our bedroom. the upstairs hallway and the the living room. I just love when my carpets are clean. I do not like spots, they bug me...LOL.

Also, I love the smell of Vanilla, I even wear vanilla body spray. When I was in Georgia, my Mil's home smelled so lovely. I asked her how she kept her home smelling so good all the time, and she uses the Vanilla warmers that plug into the wall. I use those, but haven't refilled them for awhile. So when we got back, I refilled the warmers with vanilla, and my house smells so nice now. You can totally smell it, especially when you go outside and come back in:)

Happy Friday, YES IT IS FRIDAY!!!! Time for another cup of coffee:)

Tuesday:)

When we were flying home from Georgia, we were supposed to be on a bigger plane with TV's to watch. They changed our plane and instead of a big plane we were on a small plane with TV's in the isle, and of course our seat's headphone units were broken. SOOOOO, I read this book:) Kevin had his laptop, so the kids were able to play games. I also had learning books and that really kept little Kevin busy for awhile:) The flight both ways was actually not that bad. Lot's of snacks and things to keep everyone busy helped a lot! Our little dog came too.

Shopping Day!

Happy Wednesday! Today was my shopping day.
We did a little shopping when we got back, but I really needed to do a big shopping trip.

I clipped and printed out coupons for products that I use.

So, today, I spent $194.00~~~BUT, I saved $96.00 dollars in coupons and my club card:)
YaY!!

Right now, I am baking bread!
So we will have homemade dinner rolls with my roasted chicken, that I got for about 3.00:)

Happy Tuesday.

Time to make a fresh pot of coffee!

Tuesday!

Hello!

We had such a wonderful time in Georgia!

We did not take a lot of pictures, but we did get some at one of my favorite restaurants:)

Cracker Barrel

I did a bunch of laundry, now I have to put it all away.
Isn't it funny, when you are away from home, there is still so much to do when you get back?

While I was in Georgia, I saw an episode of Extreme couponing. Have any of you seen that show? Could you imagine walking out of the store with 1,200 dollars worth of groceries for only 100.00, wow:)
I clipped some coupons, so tomorrow, we shall see how much I can save!

Tonight we are having Tacos for dinner:)

Happy Tuesday!

Is it already Thursday? This week is just flying by.

I am trying to get everything done before vacation.

My son's crown fell out, so I have to take him to the dentist to get it put back in tomorrow.

Laundry, Laundry, Laundry.

The weather has been so beautiful. Little Kevin is just having so much fun blowing bubbles and chalk...and his very favorite is the water balloons:) I have a little color now, too.

Tonight's dinner was roasted chicken.

I am off to bed, I am sleepy.

See you in the morning.

I will post before vacation:)

Tuesday!

Good morning. Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. Our grill broke a few months back, so over the weekend we got a new grill. On Saturday we grilled steak and asparagus, and then on Sunday, I made Shish Kabob's, beef and chicken. The picture below is of the beef. On the chicken skewers I added pineapple.

I also made some baby new potatoes:)

This week, school is half days and then next week is spring break. We are going to Georgia for the week, so we are very excited about that. I am going to have a house sitter, so my home will be taken care of. I wish some of you lived near Atlanta, so we could visit:) Today I am going to do a bunch of spring cleaning, and when I get back from vacation, I will finish:) We will have our own TV on the plane, but I am going to bring my Little House books to read:) Tonight's dinner is going to be skinless, boneless chicken breasts with steamed veggies:) Happy Tuesday! Cold and Wet Monday!

Good Morning!

The Hallmark Channel has brought back the Waltons:) YaY!

It rained really hard last night, and it is supposed to continue raining through today, it is COLD!!! BRRRRRRRRR:)

Since we can't play outside, it is the perfect day to get a lot of things done around the house, Cooking, Cleaning and Baking! I just love these kind of cozy days!

We had a very nice weekend.

Remember when I posted about my daughter having lice. Well, it is going around again. We are lice free, but my girlfriends household has it. I went over to her house on Saturday to help her get rid of those little buggers. She was a bit overwhelmed to say the least. I bought some shampoo with tea tree oil in it for my daughter to use. It is supposed to be a deterrent, so hopefully if there is any lice at the school, they will stay away from my daughter. I am continuously checking through everyone's head. I do not want to have to go through that again, it was a lot of work getting rid of those buggers! If any of you have ever had to deal with Lice, you know what I am talking about.

I am caught up on laundry.
WooHoo!

I want to dust and vacuum today.

The baby gates that I had put up, had left marks on my wall, so I spackled the marks, and then over the weekend, my husband painted over the spackle. The walls look so nice now.

It is so dark here right now, it seems like night time.
Have a wonderful Monday
XO

Tsunami!

Yes, I live on the coast in Southern California. San Clemente to be exact. Everything seems to be fine so far. Everyone is out and about. It is a beautiful sunny day. I live high up on a hill, and you can see the ocean from my neighborhood, but all looks calm. It is all over the news, so I am listening to it. My prayers go out to Japan and everywhere else affected by this. Scary stuff!!! Be safe everyone!

So Far.....

Shoping is done!
Now on to Housework:)

What are your plans for today?
Anyone joining in the cleaning fun?

Tuesday!

Good Morning!
I hope you all checked out the blog I posted about yesterday:)
Today is a brand new day and with that brings new things. You never know what each day holds.
It was a chilly day yesterday, and it rained too. I love that kind of weather.
I made a Turkey dinner on Sunday so yesterday, I made Turkey noodle soup~~perfect for the cold, wet day.
Today I am thinking of making some kind of turkey casserole, and then freezing the rest.

Breakfast is served, I made cheese omelets. Now it is time for me to get dressed.
I will soon take Alexis to school, and then come back home and start my chores:)
Her school is literally like 1 to 2 minutes away. There is a huge park right next to the school that I take them too. I won't be taking them to the park today, because since it rained and is cold the park will be all wet. I do not want anyone to get sick again so soon after getting better.
Happy Morning to you all
Enjoy your coffee!

Good Afternoon!

Egg Noodles
Steamed Broccoli
Salad
Dinner Rolls

I also took out a turkey I had in the freezer, I will defrost it this week, and make it for a nice dinner on Sunday. It was just taking up so much space in the freezer for a long time. It is time to cook the Turkey. So we will have a nice turkey dinner on Sunday, with lots of leftovers:)

Edamame!

Hello!

Edamame, Do you like it?

Well, at this house I can't buy enough of it. My oldest, I think loves it the most, he can eat a bunch in one sitting. My husband is really indifferent to it ... It is the kids that devour it.

I am happy that it is a really healthy snack, and if that is what they want to eat, YaY!! I buy the big pack from Costco, and wish they came in an even bigger box. I do sometimes buy the little spongbob lunch packs, but they go fast, and it is cheaper to buy them in bulk at Costco.

So, what do you think of Edamame?
