Garden Basics:)

I am determined to grow something this year with some success. I was able to get a few tomatoes from the Topsy-Turvey I keep trying. This spring, I don't think I am going to do the Topsy-Turvey, but I may change my mind. I do want to grow something. What would you say is something that anyone can grow? I don't have any kind of a green thumb, but I do try. So what would you suggest? We love all veggies, so anything I could grow would make me happy...LOL.

I took Kevin to the park today, and we were the only ones there, which was so nice to have all the slides and swings to ourselves. Usually the park is loaded with children, but today no one. I went while everyone was still in school, it was nice just me and my little boy.

His birthday is coming up and we are leaning towards a Star Wars theme. He really likes Star wars. I can not believe he will be 4:)

Tony will be turning 19 very soon, but I think little boy parties are out...LOL. We will do something special:)

.......Kevin, my husband has a birthday coming up too. So many birthdays...LOL.

Happy Tuesday!

Zucchini, Julieann, zucchini....lol. Anyone can grow zucchini. But if you don't want zucchini coming out of your ears only plant 1 or 2 seeds...lol. And when it looks like it won't be ready to pick for a while check it the next day anyway because it gets too big really fast. Battered and fried zucchini, zucchini in casseroles, sliced or chunked zucchini cooked in a little butter or a little water then mixed with stewed tomatoes and corn, zucchini bread, stuffed zucchini boats.....so many dishes made with zucchini are so good. I don't have a green thumb at all but Keith does, thank goodness, because I love having a garden. : )

Hi Robin...Yes, I heard that zucchini was easy to grow, and that was one I was thinking about. We do love zucchini. I will have to do research and figure out when the best time to plant them. Thank you so much for your help:)
