Our new President will have my prayers and my respect--and I will never say a negative thing about hime, I may point out something I disagree with--but lets all pray that God gives him the wisdom and strength to take care of our beautiful country like President Bush did.
As with every new president, I hope for the best for our country. I don't care what his politics are. And as for President Bush - well, I'll be nice. After all, he was my husband's Commander in Chief for 8 years - which also has something to do with my feelings about him.
I was wondering if there was a way to say thank you to President Bush, since it seems he hasn't had much encouragement during his terms of office. Thanks, Julie, for putting this on your blog.
To thank President Bush doesn't mean that we can't pray for and be respectful towards President Obama. But, I do think it's nice to show some gratitude for Bush, as well. I'm sure that being President is such a hard, hard job -- probably harder than any of us can imagine. Presidents have to make such tough decisions, as well. Yes, thanks President Bush.
