The ABC's of Homemaking

Mrs. Monise tagged me for this cute quiz. I am now going to Tag--> Chrissy, Elizabeth, and Mrs. A--and of course YOU:)

Aprons – Y/N? If Y, what does your favorite look like?
Oh yes, a much needed necessity:) I will post a picture of it.

Baking – Favorite thing to bake
My favorite thing to bake is--that is a hard one, I love to bake everything--I would have to say Bagels, I was so happy I learned how to make them, that I still get impressed when I make them --they turn out so good--yummy!!

Clothesline – Y/N?
Association won't allow :( I did have one before though.

Donuts – Have you ever made them?
Yes!

Every day – One homemaking thing you do every day
Dishes!

Freezer – Do you have a separate deep freeze?
No, but it is on my list:)

Garbage Disposal – Y/N?
Yes

Handbook – What is your favorite homemaking resource?
Oh, I love homemaking handbooks--but I have to say, I really like my Notebook that I made, I printed out so much useful information that fits me:)

Ironing – Love it or hate it? Or hate it but love the results?
I enjoy it

Junk drawer – Y/N? Where is it?
Yes, I have a junk drawer, it is in the kitchen by the phone, it has pens, paper, batteries, and odds and ends.

Kitchen – Color and decorating scheme--
I have pictures of my kitchen, just look under my home

Love – What is your favorite part of homemaking?
My favorite part of homemaking is when everyone is home and sitting down around the table, eating dinner that I so lovingly made and enjoying it--- (Also a clean home)

Mop – Y/N?
Yes

Nylons – Wash by hand or in the washing machine?
By hand

Oven – Do you use the window or open the oven to check?
(giggles) I open it--is that bad?? (LOL)

Pizza – What do you put on yours?
Veggie pizza

Quiet – What do you do during the day when you get a quiet moment?
Computer, sew, crochet, bake

Recipe card box – Y/N? What does it look like?
I have a recipe box and a note book that I made of all the recipes, I have printed out or written down.

Style of house?
Two Story, There are pictures of it here--> My home

Tablecloths and napkins – Y/N?
Yes, I have Tablecloths and Napkins

Under the kitchen sink – Organized or toxic wasteland?
Organized

Vacuum – How many times per week?
Everyday

Wash – How many loads of laundry do you do per week?
10--give or take

X’s – Do you keep a daily list of things to do that you cross off?
Absolutely---I am the queen of lists..(LOL) Can't you tell by my blogging;)

Yard – Y/N? Who does what?
Yes we have a yard, we have a Gardner.

Zzz’s – What is your last homemaking task for the day before going to bed?
Brush teeth and lotion---or maybe, by homemaking-- I turn the dishwasher on.

Hello, Julieann! I enjoyed learning more about your homemaking preferences. I noticed in a previous post that you were soaking your oven parts for cleaning. Would you mind telling me what kind of solution you use? The stove top in the house we are renting is not getting as clean as I'd like. Maybe the solution you use would help. Thanks!
