LASAGNA!!!

I had to caption it in some way...I had just made my menu plan and realized I had butternut squash to fit in..

Crockpot Meatloaf!!!!

*Menu Plan* For the Week :)

What is your Menu Plan?

This is mine.

After I made this I realized I have some butternut squash I need to use...so I will fit that in somewhere here...LOL

*MY GRANDMOTHER'S KOLACHKI'S*

*Kolachki Recipe*
3 oz cream cheese

4 oz unsalted butter (1 stick)

1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
 

Jam (My grandmother always used apricot)
Plus some powdered sugar to dust the cookies when they are done.

Blend the cream cheese and butter

Mix in the flour, a third at a time, until combined.

Form into a ball, wrap with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight or for at least a couple hours.

Preheat the oven to 350*

Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface into a nice thin layer, about a 1/4 inch thick. Trim the edges off the dough and cut it in to 2 1/2 in squares.

Put about 1tsp of jam in the middle of each square and fold over opposite corners. Seal them together by using a little water to help them seal,

Place the cookies on a lined cookie sheet and bake for about 15-18 minutes until lightly golden around the edges.

Let cool for about a minute before carefully transferring to a cooling rack. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Trader Joe New (to me) All Purpose Cleaner and Dish Soap!!

 Oh my goodness!!!

These new soaps are glorious!!

I found my scent~~~~Cedarwood and Sage.  Anything that has Sage in it, is coming home with me...it is that simple.  Besides, me loving everything Trader Joe's...they just get better and better!!!

I love their store so much.

I did  lot of shopping at TJ'S today and I will show you my HAUL in the next post :)

This picture came up as a memory on Facebook....My little girl is now 18...can you believe it!!????

She is absolutely amazing!!

My daughter is all the good parts of me and her Dad...she is absolutely precious, and I love her so much :)

CUCUMBERS!!

My love for jars!

I used my mandolin and sliced onion and cucumbers,

added them to this jar and put half water, half vinegar.

A little Dill

Garlic....you can add whole, peeled garlic, chopped or minced.

Salt and pepper

Shake, shake, shake,

Refrigerate

CAESAR SALAD

 I make this salad often...and it is super easy :)  Or you could buy a kit or a premade one in the deli,

This Caesar salad is made with organic Romaine lettuce that I bought from Costco and then I purchased Caesar dressing and Parmesan cheese from my local grocer, either Kroger or Publix.....

I chop and wash the romaine...even if the lettuce states it's been washed, I always wash it...I just do.

Then mix in the dressing, enough to coat each lettuce leaf....

You can either sprinkle the Parm over the top or mix it in with the dressing.

Now, this is where I differ in the Caesar

salad...instead of croutons, I add lots and lots of avocado and a few black olives..

salt and pepper to taste...

YUMMY!!!

Kitchen Calendar and Office Calandar

I picked out two calendars so far along with my planner.  The planner post is below this one, so check it out!  I will hang my cow calendar in my pink office...lol.  This heart and Home in my kitchen.....I also like to put one in my bathroom...a lot of planning goes on while I am curling my hair...tee hee!!!

I am in love with all LAUREN CONRAD'S products...she has come out with EVERYTHING!!!!! 

So for my love of everything Lauren Conrad, my new planner is LC.....it is so beautiful and feminine.  I think that is why I am obsessed with all her items...so girly and feminine....if you are in Kohl's check out her things...absolutely beautiful and PINK...giggle :)
