Tuesday:)

When we were flying home from Georgia, we were supposed to be on a bigger plane with TV's to watch. They changed our plane and instead of a big plane we were on a small plane with TV's in the isle, and of course our seat's headphone units were broken. SOOOOO, I read this book:) Kevin had his laptop, so the kids were able to play games. I also had learning books and that really kept little Kevin busy for awhile:) The flight both ways was actually not that bad. Lot's of snacks and things to keep everyone busy helped a lot! Our little dog came too.

Glad to hear that the flights went well. I just love those Little House books. I read them over and over and over....

I have thought of traveling with our little dog. Were you able to carry your dog on in a carrier? How did it work out? We flew last fall, and I saw a woman bring a carrier with a dog in it that looked just like our little poodle. I had a pang for a moment thinking that we could have brought our dog along.

Hi Elizabeth:) Yes, we brought the dog on the plane with us, in a carrier. When the plane takes off, you have to put the carrier under the seat where you would put your purse, but once you are in the air, you can hold the carrier on your lap. They won't let you take the dog out. Before they banned blankets, we would take him out and let him sleep on our laps under the blanket:) To fly your dog, our flight required a health certificate, and you also have to buy him his own ticket. The ticket is not as much as a people ticket, but I think it is silly they charged so much for a little 4 pound dog.....125.00 each way. Hope this helps some:)

Hi Julieann!!
When were you in Georgia? I am sad that I missed a chance to meet you in person!!!

My daughter, Elizabeth (5 next month) is really getting into the Little House series!! She sat on edge this morning as we read about Jack's disappearance and then he finally showed up again! YAY for well loved dogs!!!

Happy homemaking!
