 Happy New Year’s Eve!!

We made it to the end.... to the end of the year and my year of blogging....

What a year, huh?

Who could have ever thought what this year could have been like?

I am a bit sad that Trump did not get the presidency.... I feel like the new president did not win it authentically ....

Sigh!!

I do love my Trumpy Bear and I am so appreciative of everything we have and what IS yet to come...

My word for 2021 is coming....

Any guesses???

I prepare it on Christmas Eve after all the festivities have calmed down and The Christmas Story is playing on TBS.....

Pork Roast with all the fixings!!

I cooked it in the slow cooker all day and it came out glorious

 I know I have shared this many times before, but I just love  this little area so much. One of the things I always look for in buying a home is a window above the kitchen sink.

Pork Recipe......

RECIPE:

Perfect Pork Roast in the Slow Cooker

Ingredients

• 1 large onions sliced

• 1 bag of Baby Carrots

• 3~5 lb. pork shoulder roast approximate weight

• 1 packet of Lipton and mushroom soup mix

• 2 C of chicken broth, (I use my homemade stock)

Preparation:

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Grease a 6 qt. slow cooker with cooking spray.

2. Place onions and carrots on the bottom of the cooker.

3. Place roast over veggies and then pour broth over roast.

4. Pour packet of soup mix over roast

5. Cover and cook on high for 5-7 hours or low for 9-10 or until meat pulls apart easily with a fork.

Pork Roast!

I slowcooked this beautiful piece of pork that I got at Costco all day in my slow cooker. 

The house smelled glorious..... the secret may or may not have been Lipton onion and mushroom soup mix♥️
