Happy Homemaker Monday

 Hello, and happy Monday everyone.  I am so glad you are here. I am joining in over at Sandra's Blog's, Happy Homemaker Monday.  So fun!!  I enjoy visiting everyone's blogs and making new blogging friends :)

 I had a pretty wonderful weekend.  We had breakfast on Saturday at one of our favorite restaurants, did our Costco shopping, went to the office store and got a new desk.  I tried to get some laundry done in between other homemaking duties.  I went to church on Sunday and then finished the day with going to the big Kroger with my daughter to finish off the grocery shopping and get things I would rather get at a grocery store then Costco. This Kroger is like a supercenter, they have everything there, but on a smaller scale then Costco.

Outside my window, it is wet and dreary and cold, and supposed to rain all week.  I used to love the rain, not so much anymore.  In California, it did not rain that much.  North Georgia, it rains A LOT!!!😉

I am pondering and getting super excited for Spring and planting my garden. I am also planning my quick trip to check on my Dad.  I have to go to California to see him,  I am bringing my daughter with me, she asked to go.  She would love to see her Grandfather.  It is so important.

I am still reading ATOMIC HABITS by James Clear.  It is not a book I will ever give up, but rather keep it and use my highlighter the second go around.  I highly recommend this book

Blog hopping (newly discovered blog).
A new blog that I have found doing this is, Tamy's Blog, Chasing my Life.  I have so much in common with her and she is always so welcoming and kind.  I enjoy her blog so much :)

On my to do list...
I am happy to report I fixed the broken needle on my sewing machine and I am happily able to sew again.  My mother had a talent to sew like no other, while I may not have that talent, everything I sew, I sew with love :)

Devotional:
Galations 6:9
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

Sometimes, it seems hard, but doing the right thing, is always the right thing.  Always remember God loves you with everything he has and is worth following and loving with your whole heart.

~~~~~~
You are enough!
You are so much more than enough
You are strong, you are beautiful, you are needed
You bring things to this world no one else can.
You are perfect, exactly who you are!
You deserve nothing but the best
You are worthy of love and being loved.
You are beautiful inside and out.
God made you perfect and he does not make mistakes.
You are and have always been, enough!
~~~~~~~~~
Until next time,
Thank you for visiting!
Gentle Hugs

Second time I've seen that book mentioned recently, guess I better look into reading it. Hope you get out to California to visit your dad soon. Yes, so important for our kids to visit their grandparents. Have a wonderful week!

Ok you're now the third or fourth person I have seen mention the book Atomic Habits. I'm curious now.

Your menu sounds yummy. And yay for fixed sewing machine needles.

Hope you have a blessed week, sweet lady ♥

Enjoy your trip with your daughter to see your dad.
Costco's has such big quantities... if they had smaller we would buy there more.
Have a great week

I'm also reading Automatic Habits in between my fiction selections....and though I do enjoy the colder weather I'm ready to begin working my yard, landscapes, & raised bed gardens....

Hello Friend!
I wish we had a Kroger - sounds wonderful! And your menu sounds amazing! 😋 I hope you get your sewing machine fixed. I had home economics in school and they had us sew, but it's definitely not a talent I've ever developed. Lol
Love your inspirational too. Amen - God makes superb things - including us! 💕 Have a blessed week ahead.
xoxo

Hallo

Thank you for this nice blog post, Julieann. And thank you for sharing the bible verse from Galatians 6:9. It is always inspiring to read and reflect on the wisdom and guidance contained in scripture. May it bring you comfort and encouragement in (y)our daily life

All the best,
Aritha
