 What????!!!!!
     I can not believe my last post was in May!!  My beloved blog.  I may be absent at times but I will never not stop coming here.  I remember the days when I thought about my blog obsessively and would wake up first thing and check it and then I would lay in bed at night and think of all the things I wanted to write about and share....I am so glad I have this blog and all my memories.  I will continue to write here because I cherish my little blog on the net.

     This world right now is quite a bit different then when I first started writing in it...I think you all can agree....
I pray for our beautiful country and the return of peoples' sanity.  To be completely honest, C*v!d, masks, and vacc*nes do not scare me, but peoples' opinions and reactions to these things do.  I understand people having mad, serious opinions on these things, but it has brought out some things in people I wish I never had to see.

     Changing topic so to speak...How are you all doing?  I hope all who stop here are doing well and have amazing things going on.
     

     I have potatoes baking in the oven and I will soon make a salad and fry up some pork.

     My family are all well and I love them dearly.  I still wear an apron and love Martha Stewart......tee hee.  My menu plan will be going up soon.....with possibly a video to coincide with it.

On July 24th of this year, I tuned 51!!!  51!!!!!!!!

Ranch Dressing, Revisited :

Revisiting an oldie but a goodie!!
My Ranch Dressing Recipe:

Ranch Dressing:

1 1/2 C Mayonnaise

1/2 C Buttermilk

1 T Red Wine Vinegar

1 T Sugar

1 tsp Garlic powder

1 tsp Onion powder

1 T Dried Parsley

1/2 tsp Dill

1/2 tsp Salt (optional)

1/2 tsp Black pepper

Dash of Paprika

Whisk ingredients together, and refrigerate one hour before serving:)

I can't reiterate enough how absolutely wonderful this Ranch Dressing recipe is. It did not last this time around I made it..it went quick...LOL.

I can not believe it is May already...where has this month gone...LOL

I hope your days are filled with love a busy-ness and I hope all who find my little corner on the internet are well.

I have been busy cooking, cleaning and doing virtual learning with my son...I absolutely love that....I am enjoying learning right a long with him.  I have a fondness for history...I love it.

I hope you are enjoying my menu plans....this week was not a normal week.  Mother's Day I had a lot of leftovers, and my husband had a few meals at the office, in which he brought home to share...not a whole of cooking dinners in my kitchen this week.  I enjoy cooking but it was nice this week, being so easy.

I got a new springform pan that I am excited about I will show it to you in the next post, it's pink...LOL.

I am on my second cup of coffee and I am about to go on my 3 mile run.  My downstairs flooring is getting changed today, I will try and share some pictures of that.
Woodland Dove is the name of the floor..it's beautiful and charming...I am going for that farmhouse look, I always have, even when it wasn't in style.

I made this really great nacho dish this weekend, using Flank Steak.

I also grill pork chops super easy, about ten minutes on each side 💕

Served on ice..with lemon, shell crackers, little forks, your appetizer plate

Everything was shelled in a way for easy access...simple!

The coffee, is my absolute favorite part of this whole dinner experience.  They bring you your very own French Press and it is just deliciousness all to yourself...lol.  I love the white coffee cups, just like home.  You can see I wore pink lipstick...LOL..The inside of my face masks are pink..in fact, my face masks when I need to wear them are pink.

                       Shoestring potatoes...super crispy, like potato chips.

Everyone had steaks, lobster macaroni and cheese, you can see a picture of it above next to the shoestring fries. Creamed spinach was also served which was absolutely scrumptious!!

It was a celebration of my husband.  It was his birthday dinner and oh boy, what a birthday dinner it was.

They ended it with a beautifully plated cheese cake dessert with the words "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" written in chocolate 

 I must end this with the coffee...lol.

Pink Nails

Happy Tuesday!!

Hope you all are having a most happy day!!!

We had a really bad thunderstorm roll through here last night...the only reason I know this is my phone kept alerting me..if it wasn't for my phone, I would probably have slept through it all.

I painted my nails pink.  What do you think?  What color do you like?

Today felt like a summer day, it was quite lovely...considering what went on the night before....

Tonight I made this super yummy casserole..it turned out quite good...I will share it next...

Hope you all are well.  I go to the eye doctor this week, so stay tuned for my new glasses.  I can not wait.

I ran to Walmart and bought some binders for my homeschool adventures. I need more orgnization....

I woke up bright and early and ran my 3.5 miles.....that is such a great way to start the day.
I had a cup of coffee with sweet cream, yummy!!!
I got these yummy granola bars at Costco that I eat after I run...I also got these chocolate covered figs..they are super yummy and very low calorie....and good!

We are trying to get out to California, but the airlines keep changing our flights....I really NEED to see my dad, I miss him so much!

The New Year and all That It Entails!

 

Well hello there!!

Waving!!

I hope January is starting out well for all of you.  We are in the throws of Virtual learning.  My son is a rockstar in math, and that is a good thing, considering I have no clue about "NEW MATH"...lol.

I have been busy with my Peloton and running.  Virtual learning, laundry, virtual learning, laundry and making the most delicious dinners....tee hee!!

I made Little Cheddar Meatloaves for dinner last night.  Recipe is from Taste of Home, so you can find the recipe easily;) ...I will insert pictures here:

What have you been cooking? Anything exciting?
Tonight is family fun night, so that means someone in our family gets to pick out the restaurant.  Nothing is closed here and we are all careful. 

The weather this week has been a little chilly and wet...not a lot of rain, but just a lot of wet.

I woke up early today to start my day...I am going to go for a run, help finish up school and maybe run up to Whole Foods for something I want...we shall see.
