Notebook.

Looking over a notebook I have for everything, has gotten quite big...LOL. When we are all moved in our new home, I am going to revamp my notebook for the home. It needs it. I did it a long time ago, where I made two books, one for my lists and one for my recipes. My recipe book just gets bigger and bigger...LOL. My other notebook is also getting bigger and bigger because I just love to make lists and organize, but I have to stop printing out every organizational printout I find...LOL.

This time next week we should be in Georgia!!! WoW!!!

My skin is sensitive, so I moisturize with baby oil during/after my shower. I use the lotions on my hands and feet and part of my arm, they seem to be fine with the lotions.

Today was another very busy Saturday!
We took Tiki to get groomed today, she does not care for that, but her nails needed to be trimmed.
Little K got a haircut.
We went to the Mall to pick up a few things.
Costco trip.....We scaled down this trip making sure we just got enough meat for about two weeks. The produce will go fast. Love Costco!

Made Pork chops on the grill, baked potatoes, steamed broccoli, salad with avocados and tomatoes!

I just finished cleaning up the kitchen and mopping the floor.

Oh, I got my Vanilla body spray and lotion at Bath and Body..I love the vanilla spray, smells so pretty to me.

Okay, this is the closet in the master bedroom of our new home. It is bigger then my bedroom here...LOL. Oh, the possibilities I will have with this closet:) I can not wait to hang up our clothes.

I am super excited of the Laundry Room. It is an actual room. YaY!! It also has a sink. YaY!! I can't wait to get in there and start doing laundry. My very own laundry room. In this house, my washer and dryer are in a closet, so I am excited for this:) My last house in Georgia had a laundry room too. If you go back to the beginning of my blog, there are a few pictures of my home in Georgia, and my old laundry room.

I Can Not Believe This.......

My first born turns 20 today!!!!!

This picture was taken when Tony was about 9 months old. Oh, it seems like yesterday they placed him in my arms. I was in labor for 36 hours before they discovered he was breach and did an emergency C-section. This was truly one of the best and amazing days of my life.
Happy Birthday to my sweet boy, who is now a young man!!

Saturday

For dinner tonight we had steak and ribs on the grill, roasted asparagus, baked potatoes and salad.

It was quite a busy day in the Gosset home. We replaced the window in the dining room that had a crack in it. Sent off our screens to be fixed that had holes. One, our little dog had scratched and one, Little Kevin poked through. We also got new blinds for Tony's room, that he broke.

I also, went to Walmart and to Albertsons. Cleaned the Living room. I think I am going to do a load of laundry before bed.

It was such a warm day today, too, we took Little K out to ride his bike. Alexis was off with my sister to see the Whale Festival in Dana Point. Remember my sister has a daughter the same age as my daughter, so they are very close. It will be sad to leave Emma.

It was a sundress and sandal kind of day:)

We have about 3 weeks left..it is coming up quick!!

March!

Can you believe that at the end of this month I will be in my new home in Georgia??!!! It seems so surreal to me. I am so excited.

Alexis has had a cough for a couple days, and last night her cough kept her up. I took her to the pediatrician today, who I am sooo going to miss, he is the best!!! She has a bronchial infection, so antibiotics were in order. I think this is the first time, she has ever been on an antibiotic. I was very relieved it was just that, I was worried it might have been a touch of asthma. The Doctor reassured me it was not. He also, gave me more prescriptions for Kevin's EPI pens, and more refills for breathing medications. When we were at the Doctor's, Kevin made sure to tell everyone we were there for sissy and not for him.

Kevin has been in Northern California for the past two days and should be home shortly. I have a pork roast in the crockpot with potatoes and carrots, and I also made a salad. The kids have already ate.


I am getting comfortable driving my new car..I know where every thing is now and it is not feeling foreign to me. I took it on the freeway for the first time today. The neat thing about the car is it came with two years of Serius radio, so I have been listening to Martha Stewart. I also like that it has children's stations. I used to have Serius radio, but Kevin's broke in his car and he took mine to use and I just never got another one...LOL.

I took a lot of pictures down from the walls and the house is starting to look like we are either moving in or moving out...LOL.

With the Doctor's appointment, and going to the pharmacy I did not get much done at home.

I can't remember if I posted we had Hail the other night...but it was LOUD!!!! Little round ice balls falling from the sky...Alexis thought that was so neat.

I still can not get over the idea that we will be in Georgia at the end of this month.....we will be there in time for Easter and Little K's Birthday:)

Monday, Monday!!!

What did you do today?

I cleaned out my bathroom cabinets. I tossed a bunch of nail polish. I have no idea how old they were. I don't wear nailpolish on my fingernails, I prefer the french manicure. To me it is just very clean looking, and on my toes, they are pink. They were old, how old? I have no idea...LOL.


I also put all my cleaning supplies in a very big tupperware container. I will use what I have until I move. Then I will give my cleaning supplies to my neighbors/friends, if they want any of it. I can't take any cleaning supplies with me, so when we get settled in our new home I will have to start fresh:)

For dinner tonight we had pork chops, peas, steamed rice, salad and steamed artichokes. I hope you all have a wonderful evening:) It is raining really hard right now. Stay warm!

Sunday!

It is supposed to start raining tonight at about midnight and last through out tomorrow. I so enjoy rainy days.

Today was a very nice Sunday. We had tacos for dinner. Last night's dinner was Tri-Tip on the grill. Tomorrow will be pork chops. I also have some artichokes to cook tomorrow, the kids LOVE them.

We have the mover's all lined up. They should arrive at our new house just in time for us. It is a lot of house, and we don't have the furniture to fill it...LOL. We will just start to decorate room by room. It will be sooo nice to have room to move. We have completely outgrown this house.


The awards show is on tonight, you can't help hearing about it. Do I watch it? No, those shows have never interested me. Have I seen any of the movies? Nope......there is only one movie I want to see, and that is The Help. I am sure it is nominated from all the reviews I have heard about it.


I just gave little Kevin his bath, and now I must clean the kitchen. You all have a wonderful Sunday!

I am a SAHM!
I am happy.
I am doing what I have always wanted to do and that is being a wife and mother.
I love dressing like a girl, looking like a girl, doing things girls do. I am a girl :)
I am thankful God made me a girl, I embrace it. I love everything there is about being a girl.

I am appreciated and loved by my family, which makes me a very happy and loved SAHM :)
There is nothing more satisfying to me then what I am already doing.

Wednesday!

When are you most motivated?
I seem to get really motivated after dinner, when I am cleaning up the kitchen. It kind of goes from there..Start cleaning the kitchen, taking out trash, throwing a load in the washer...etc.....


Tonight's dinner we had Chili cheese dogs and french fries.
I used turkey chili, turkey hot dogs and baked french fries..so it was semi healthy...LOL.

It was a fun dinner.

Oh, what to write? Today was back to school. Tuesday's are always early days, so that was nice. Kevin was back at work too. I drove my new car today, which I am still getting used too. It is really nice.
It was really chilly in the morning and then it gets warmer in the afternoon.

I re-packed that box the mover said he would re-pack..LOL. I couldn't help myself.

When we moved here, we knew we would be eventually be moving back to Georgia. I still can't believe we are actually going back, YaY! We rented this home. As beautiful as this home is, I couldn't imagine paying the amount of money they want for it...way too much. Our rent is high too, we pay $2,300 a month. I am so hoping we get our deposit back. We gave a $3,000 deposit, so it would be really nice to get some of that back. I know we aren't responsible for normal wear and tear, but everyone's idea of wear and tear is there own. When I was a property manager, I overlooked the little things that I knew I could fix. Most everyone got their deposit back.

Dinner is all cleaned up and the dishwasher is going.

We had two more movers come today to give estimates. Talk about invasion of privacy...LOL. They were opening things up that I was not prepared for them to open...LOL. That sure gets you motivated to clean. My husband picked the mover that he liked the best. It can get a bit stressful. I have packed boxes and one of the movers said he would have his movers repack this one box for me....Um, okay...LOL. I am a little OCD when it comes to my stuff..it is hard for me to see strangers packing and touching my stuff....


For dinner I put a pork roast in the crockpot and made mashed potatoes and gravy, carrots and a salad.

The best part of the weekend was my husband got me a new car..he traded in my Trailblazer for a Ford Edge, it is so pretty and I love the new car smell.

Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend. We are having a nice weekend here. There is no school tomorrow and Kevin has the day off too, YaY!

We are just getting ready for our move. We have to be in Georgia on April 1st, so that is pretty exciting having a date. So, we have to leave here before then to get there and set up house in time for Kevin to start work and Alexis to start school :)

4 Day Weekend!!

Here are some boxes all packed and ready :)

Now just another 60 or so to go.....

Hopefully my husband will know of an exact day today. It will be around late March or early April...I will love to know more of an exact date though. We had one mover come over Monday and give us an estimate...we have two more to go. I am trying to be patient, but I so can not wait to go :)

Dentist for Alexis today. Her spacer had come out, and they need to recheck her and maybe put it back in. So I will be getting her out of school early.

It has been quite chilly this past week, and it rained a lot yesterday. I love the rain and enjoyed watching it fall from inside the warm home:) I put my birds in front of the windows so they can watch the rain.

My husband gave me flowers and a certificate to the nail salon. The nail salon is one of my favorite places to go, and he always remembers that. I love my husband so much. I am so blessed to have him as my husband!!! He treats me like a princess everyday, not just Valentines.

Slow Cooker Saturday

This is the kind of crockpot I have:)

I am slow cooking a beef roast today. My home smells amazing:)
I am always baking fresh bread.

My husband has booked three appointments of different movers to come next week to give us estimates of how much it will cost to pack everything and move it across the country. Well, I am already ahead of them...since I have been packing...LOL. I told my husband they can pack things up but there are certain things I want to do myself...LOL. KWIM?

Oh, we went shopping and got the kids there Valentine gifts:)

Thursday!

Today was shopping day. I always enjoy putting everything away in the kitchen and planning meals.

Little K is sooooooooooo much better. It was rough, I can do okay on losing one nights sleep but losing two nights sleep was hard. We both got a much needed night's sleep last night.

Still busy getting everything ready for the move. I will be so happy when we are there and in our new home, surrounded by so much family.

Well, my little boy is sick now. I am not sure if you remember, first Alexis was sick, then I got it, now my little boy:( I have been playing Nurse Mommy today, making sure he is comfy!!

Dinner is up in the air.
Tony won't be home for Dinner, Kevin won't be home until late.
So it is just Alexis and Little Kevin.
So, something they will like, and easy on Little K's tummy!

13 Boxes!

My Box count upstairs is 13. I have packed up everything in my closet that is non-essential at the moment. It looks so spacious and empty. I vacuumed it and it looks so clean:)

My Box count downstairs is 10.

I can not even express how excited we all are to be going. My daughter has expressed the most excitement. She has always wanted to move back there. She was born there and has gone back every year, sometimes twice. She doesn't really remember the year we lived there when she was 4-5, but she is very close to all our family out there. This is going to be such a good thing to have all this family support with my children. Tony is back home with us and he will be moving to Georgia with us too:)

Okay, today was kind of chilly. Cloudy all day. The rain is supposed to come tonight and last all day tomorrow until Wednesday morning.

Kevin was not home for dinner tonight, so we had a kid friendly dinner. We had cheese stuffed hotdogs, corn, and cut up cucumbers.

I had to drive to John Wayne today and pick my husband up. He had been in Georgia all week, house hunting :)
I am so happy to have him back home!!!!
I am feeling better then I did yesterday, I don't have the chills anymore, just a cough..I hope it doesn't keep me up all night.

I packed another box today too.....It is amazing the things you find while you pack. I found this really cute dress that I had put up high on the shelf in the closet. I don't know why I put it there.....Maybe when I was pregnant?? I don't know..LOL.

Not much of a post today. I think I caught what my daughter had. I am chilly and achy and feeling a bit rundown..BUT, I am trudging through...LOL.
