It has a block of softened creamed cheese, cocktail sauce and cocktail shrimp..served with crackers of your liking.  We always pick a cracker that is safe (nut free and good)

Everything you see here was made by me at some point.  I will be posting all my pictures that I have taken through the years and adding them to my blog.  These food pictures were obviously taken at Christmas and other times...all the food I make is always made with love.  I  put love in everything I make.  If you ever need a recipe for something that I have made, you are always welcome to ask me in the comments.  I have also posted a ton of recipes in my sidebar that I have made..take a gander.

Today is Monday and July 2nd  We are in the middle of summer.  A beautiful warm summer.
We went out to dinner tonight and had some pizza.
It was a nice easy day.

We go swimming a lot as we have a pool here in our subdivision.  A beautiful subdivision it is too.  My husband bought me our forever home here and I just love it soooo much!

Running on Sunshine

When my very first baby was born, oh so many years ago...sometimes feels like yesterday,,,,I would put Tony in his stroller and walk...I walked all over our little beach town.  I walked so much people recognized me when I was out at other places..LOL    I really enjoyed those days, life was so simpler then.  It is funny, I didn't realize it until now.  What I thought was hard, was actually easy.  My love for those long walks did not stop with Tony...I did it with all my children.  Now that my children are all either grown up or in school...my love for walking has turned to running.  I run, and I run a lot!!!!  I run so much, my husband got me these running shoes for Christmas.  One of my very favorite gifts of all times.  I put my earbuds in and turn on a favorite youtuber and run.....I may not be good, I may not be fast...but it is my journey, and I love it!!!!  It helps so much with my anxiety of sending Kevin to school.  That is so hard to overcome...but with each new day it does get easier :)

January 18th, 2018..Thursday..SNOW DAY!!

So...here we are....another snow day...I love it...LOL.
It is so pretty and cold!
After living in California for almost my whole life..these seasons are glorious.

Don't get me wrong, sometimes they are a little scary and stressful, but I do love Georgia!!
We are in our forever home that I hope one day to have tons of grandbabies and great grandbabies in.

We are snowbound today, so what am I going to do...I have a plan...
I am going to deep clean my crockpots...they need it!
My one crockpot was given to me by my grandmother, so I must take extra care of it.

New Car!!

YES!!!

Yes, he did....lol


My husband had bought me a brand new Ford Edge over 5 years ago.  I kept that car in pristine condition  The dealer said he had never seen a car so well kept.  The teacher in the carline said she had never seen such a clean car in the carline...why, because I clean it and take pride in what I have.  I don't trash my things especially things my husband has worked very hard to give me  Anyway, those compliments really made me feel good.  The little things.

Anyway, it was time.  We traded my Edge for a 2018 Ford Explorer with all the bells and whistles.. I LOVE MY CAR...lol... it makes me happy  

If you have been reading here for any amount of time, you will know, I don't practically love driving...but, in this car...I love driving... ;)

I wanted to put this in my blog so I could keep it for my memory.

Oh, also, my sweet beautiful girl turned 16 last June and she got her Driver's license....I was so proud :)
She is also is in Dual enrollment at school...high school and college.
So for her birthday in June, we got her a brand new Ford Focus :)
I love Ford.

My little one came in third in the school spelling bee against 2 fifth graders.  He is in 4th grade...LOL  Smart little cookie he is :)


.....and my Tony, he will be married soon.  He has found "the" girl <3 br="">
No school today or tomorrow due to inclement weather and impassable roads.

It has been snowing a lot here.

Instant Pot!!

 Yes.....I am sure, I am probably one of the last to get an Instant Pot....My husband got it for me at Kohl's for Black Friday...I am SUPER excited!!


I think I am more excited to make yogurt than I am to make a roast in ten minutes...LOL..Hey, if you have any recipes please share with me...you can share them with me here in the comments, on my Instagram, Facebook page or email......I need help as I just got this and need some tried and true tips :)


My husband also picked me up a few other goodies at the store..looky at all the fun kitchen gadgets...I love my kitchen gadgets...LOL..Happy cooking!

Tuesday Before Thanksgiving :)

I have been preparing for Thanksgiving.  Oh, boy do I love it

For my birthday last July...July 24th to be exact...I turned 47....47??!!!  I am thrilled to be 47 and a few grey hairs have popped up...my husband says he can't see them...but I do.  I have earned them and I am so happy to be 47...every day I am here is a gift from God and I am thankful :)  Anyway, here I go digressing again.....for my birthday, my husband got me a new computer...a laptop.  I have never had a laptop before..my kids all have them, my husband has one...but I have always used a regular desk computer.  I never realized the freedom the laptop gives you...I am still getting used to it.  BUT!!!  This means I can hopefully BLOG more...like in the carline, before bed...etc.....lol..


Not sure how to fix my font.....lol...I am a comic sans girl...

I made the Italian Christmas cookies today with my daughter.  My beautiful daughter is now 16....she is just lovely and SMART!!!!

Tomorrow I will be do everything possible that I can, to prep for Thanksgiving.  I do all the cooking so everything on my table is safe for my son...he can eat it all and know that it is safe  ......

    I am going to post this...and see how it posts on my laptop...this could be the start of something awesome <3 br="" nbsp="">

I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer...we have been spending a lot of our days at the pool, getting a lot of Vitamin D...LOL.

Today we are going to just relax at home and I am going to catch up on some organizing I have been wanting to do.  I bought a few new cookbooks that I am excited to read, too.  I am hosting Father's Day plus a Birthday party on the 19th so I want to prepare my menu for that...You all know how I love to entertain :)

We have a movie and lunch out planned for this week, too.  We are going to see Angry Birds..anyone see that yet?

We will go to one of the safe restaurants that is on our list..there are just a few that we can go too...

Kevin's Allergy is always a learning process..it is a 24/7 job..lots of researching and planning goes into keeping him safe...as I have always said, NUTS are EVERYWHERE! We are in this together though :)

My dearest friend here though is in it with me, she has a child also with food allergies, so she "gets" me and I "get" her :) I thank God for her, it is nice to have a friend that I can talk with about this.

It has been really nice here..lots of sun and beautiful pop up rain showers..I just LOVE the weather here.

Tonight's dinner will be leftovers, considering I have a lot of leftovers..LOL.

Summer!!

The lazy days of summer are here :)  Two wonderful months of sunshine, poolfun, relaxing and not having to set the alarm.  We had a wonderful school year, but I so look forward to summer and having my babies home.

Cows......

Look at what I get to see every single day!!!!............I drive past these little loves everyday.  Lots of Mama cows and their babies....so precious...I just adore cows :)    Pretty as a picture!

Nails....

I think it is very important to have nice clean nails...I love the pink and white look (French)...for those that are long time readers, know that ...LOL.  My daughter likes to paint her nails...and I tell her once the polish starts to chip, take it off or fix it.  It is one of my OCD things....I always notice people's nails...keep them clean ladies :)

We are not in Cali Anymore...LOL

Wowee.....Now, that is cold...LOL

I wake up in the morning and it is so warm and cozy in our home.....I always go out and start the car, so it is nice and warm for the kids, for when I take them to school.  Plus, it melts the ice off....My car is too big for the garage...so it has to sit in the driveway :)

Binder 2016

For those of you that know me, know I have always had a binder....I am now realizing there is quite a binder craze going on..who knew.......LOL.  You do not have to spend a lot of money to have a binder..in fact I think it is more fun to buy a simple binder and make it your own.  I bought this one at Target for about 12 dollars...and the stickers and embellishments can be bought in the dollar spot, office supply...etc....I use my binder clips that are just a few dollars to bind each month together...I think that is one of my favorite things to do with my binder.  Then I add stickers on Birthdays and important dates.  It is fun...it is my brain along with my desk calendar that coincides with my binder.  My binder also goes with me where I go.....you just never know when you may need it.

I use these things for my planner and my desk calendar.  I also use binder clips to bind each month in my planner together :)

Red Towels and Toaster Oven

 My kitchen is red, so when my daughter and I went shopping this weekend I picked up some new towels for my kitchen.....now I just need some potholders :)

Then I used my Kohls cash to buy this little beauty, a new toaster oven :)  I haven't had a toaster oven in forever, I LOVE it!!!

New Refrigerator

 When we moved into our new home, we needed a new refrigerator.  This is the one I picked out.  I LOVE IT!!!  That middle drawer is what got me...I needed that middle drawer in my life.  I stock it with all sorts of wonderful foods.....I have my old fridge in the garage along with a deep freeze, so I am able to stock up well for my family.

School starts back up tomorrow, I went shopping and bought all sorts of fun and healthy foods to make their lunches with.  Alexis does not like to buy, she said the food isn't good..so I make her lunch.  Little K can't buy food at school because of his food allergies, so I make his...and try to make them as fun as possible....Tony and Big K also take lunch also...so there are a lot of lunches being made....LOL.  Do you make lunches for your family?  I am a SAHM and I think it is very important to make fun and healthy lunches for my family...along with breakfast and dinners :)  It's what I do...and I love it!

Little Kevin's Room!

In March, my husband bought me my forever home..I will get into the details of that in another post....Let me just say, I am over the moon happy living in the most beautiful home EVER!!!!

Before we moved in, my husband painted my son's new room blue and added my son's Sonic Fathead to it....he is living in a Sonic paradise...LOL...his whole room is all Sonic :)

The end of December!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!!!  Ours was absolutely wonderful.  My husband said it was "The Best Christmas Ever"...and it was, it really was.

I worked really hard, I cooked, cleaned, decorated and wrapped.  I am so grateful for all that I was blessed to do.

Oh, and the Elf...that silly Elf...hiding in a new place each night...Kevin just loved finding him everyday.  His favorite place to find him, as is every year is the sugar bowl...LOL.

I have pictures to share, but I have to compile them all together, when I hook my phone up to the computer, a million photo files pop up with no rhyme or reason...I have tried to figure that out, but it is time consuming.  I'll figure out an easier way.....Hey, if you know an easier way, let me know :)

We are on School break....I am so enjoying it :)

I got my nails done for the Holidays, pink and white of course, I love the clean look...and hopefully I can keep them on longer.....with so much to do, it is not always easy to get to the salon...but, I'll try.....

I took prok chops out for dinner.....Leftovers are pretty much gone.  I got my husband the the T-Fal Opti Indoor Grill....IT'S FABULOUS!!!  So maybe he will grill those tonight.....it cooks up bacon in a quick minute...LOL.  It's fun.  I found mine at Bed Bath and Beyond....LOVE THAT STORE!!!

Merry Christmas Eve!

     I truly hope eveone has a wonderful Christmas and a Blessed New Year.  I have to say, this has been a wonderful year here.  While I have not blogged a lot this year, a lot has happened this year.  Come January I want to change that.  I want to get back to my beloved blog and start blogging a lot more and add videos, too.  I so enjoy reading back and seeing what the years past were like.
     I am having Christmas here this year, and I so enjoy doing it.  It also helps my stress with Kevin's food allergies, knowing that everything on the table is safe for my little boy.
    I will be making Jesus his Birthday cake as I do every Christmas...this year it will be an Eclair cake.  That cake is absolutely amazing.  We are also doing a Prime Rib and a Turkey......Oh, and Lasagna, of course.
  I asked Santa for a Coach purse for Christmas...I normally don't ask for anything, but I fell in love with this purse when I saw it......It has a pink inside...every girl needs a little pink in their life...LOL.

Welcome December!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  We had 14 family and friends over to celebrate.  Then, it was time to put the trees up..(I did put the one in the entry way up for Thanksgiving...SHHH...LOL) Here are two of my Christmas trees I put up. One is in the entry way and the other one is in the living room. There is a small one on my little one's desk, and Alexis has a full size one in her bedroom :)  Than I have a tiny one in my bedroom...Celebrating Jesus in almost every room......
