Morning!

Good Morning!  It is about 40 degrees outside.  It was colder yesterday and very rainy.  I have put most of the Christmas decor away, except for the tree and the two little trees and the lights outside.  I will be doing that this week.

For our New Years dinner last night we had Pork Roast, black eyed peas, turnip greens, rice and cornbread :)

It was such a nice Holiday Season here in Georgia.  It went by way too fast!

My son is really enjoying his new car....I still worry when he leaves, and I am so happy when he returns. 

My husband started feeling bad yesterday and even worse this morning.  He had to go back to work today and nothing keeps him from his work.

I am enjoying Alexis having vacation.  She got the new Nokia Windows phone for Christmas, so she is getting everything off her iphone, which in turn will be mine..YaY!!!  I gave my son my cell phone when his broke, because I did not want him away from home without a phone.  I am super excited to get the iphone..I will catch up with technology just yet...LOL.

In the past I have mentioned I like to get the French Manicure on my nails....well since moving here, I have taken my nails off and I have been enjoying painting my nails all different colors...right now they are a pink, kind of a metallic pink, really pretty!

Okay, well I am going to have another cup of coffee and then jump in the shower:)  Have a wonderful day.

Everything is pretty much done :)

All the gifts are wrapped, Jesus's Birthday cake is made for tomorrow.  All the breakfast casseroles are made, veggies are cut, lasagna is made, We are making a Prime Rib Roast for tomorrow's dinner.  Our Christmas celebration is tomorrow, and then on Christmas day, we are going over to my FIL's for brunch :)  So, tomorrow, EVERYONE is coming!  My SIL and I have been working in the kitchen pretty much all day today......

Kevin is Sick!

I know I said I would post yesterday....BUT, my little boy kept me up off and on all night, poor baby!  He had a fever and was throwing up......OH, boy!!  I was living on coffee yesterday :)  He is better today, not well, but better...he is starting to eat again.  I will be homebound until he is better.  He is laying on the couch watching cartoons right now.  Bless his little heart, he is such a good boy!!

Time......

There is sometimes not enough time in the day for everything I want to do.  I can't say too much about the gifts I am giving, because my family reads here...LOL...so you will all have to wait. 

I have been doing what you all are probably doing, shopping, wrapping, cleaning, baking, visiting, etc....  :)  I am so enjoying the Christmas season here in Georgia!

I am trying to decide on what kind of cake to make for Jesus's birthday...what kind are you making this year?

I am actually going to be home all day tomorrow catching up on things, so I will write another post. I have everything ready to hand to the trashman and recycle man tomorrow....They come at the same time each week, so hopefully I can catch them to give them their little gift :) I have so much to do at the moment, I am going to go wrap some more gifts...I will see you all in the morning XO XO

I am going to be busy today...hence, the busy bee photo...LOL.

I have laundry going....I finished up all my Christmas cards....I need to clean bathrooms, do some baking, all the fun stuff that goes along with being a SAHM.

Well, after adjusting my lights yesterday, I think it did the trick..they stayed on with nothing blowing out.

I took ground beef out for dinner, so it will either be meatloaf or pasta bake.

After disabling comments on a certain post that just gets spam comments that are out of control, and putting up word modification, I did not get one spam comment this morning.  I usually wake up with my email flooded with spam comments for this blog.......This morning, nothing, Yay!!

Now, for a cup of coffee with sugar cookie creamer, Happy Friday!!!

4th time.....

Okay, the 4th time has to work...I have re-done my lights outside 4 times now.  They keep blowing out.  I am running out of lights...LOL.  I wonder what my neighbors are thinking, as my lights outside keep changing on a daily bases...LOL.

On another note, I put up the word modification in the comments section, because the comments are out of control..I get about 100 comments a day from a certain company spamming my site.  I want to write them and ask them to stop this.  Anyway, hopefully this will stop it and in a few days I can take the word modification down.....

I have bread rising in the oven right now, and I am going to make pork chops for dinner.

I also have a question, I have a computer in my kitchen and I like to watch youtube videos as I cook....Do any of you watch vloggers, do you have any channels to suggest? TIA :)
