I hope you all are having a beautiful day. I am doing housework today, but I stopped for a few minutes and made a short little video:)


Tonight's dinner will be pork chops.
I have bedding in the wash and I am about to clean my Guinea girls home.

Hello there!

It was a sunny but cold day today, no sundresses or flip flops today:)

Today was my errand day.

I went to Walmart and Publix....and got Kevin Subway for lunch.

Kevin had tried this at Walmart as a sample and really liked it.  They did not have any of these packs left....so when I went to Publix I picked a pack up.  They are about $2.00

I have to say, it tastes really good....I picked some mushrooms out to taste.

This is what the finished product looks like.  I bought some skinless, boneless chicken breasts and cut them in cubes.  Cooked them and than added the sauce...easy!
I served it on rice, along with peas and a salad.

Tomorrow, I will be doing some housework.
I have to get the house ready for Easter :)

We will be having a ham dinner.
Eggs!!
I bought lots of eggs for the kids to dye too....

Hope everyone who stops here to visit had a wonderful day :)
It is now almost bedtime.  I always tell my children when they are going to sleep, morning always come fast....LOL....and it does!

The snow this morning was pretty...it did not stick and it did not last, but it sure was cold.

Dinner tonight was meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and salad.

I hope that today finds you happy and well.
I have mentioned in past blog posts that I watch You Tube videos. I have a computer in my kitchen, and while I am busy in the kitchen, I love to watch VLOGS by other housewives:) I love peeking into other peoples lives, and see how they do things, set up home, what they make for dinner, organize, etc.....

I came across this vlogger awhile ago, and she is just so interesting to watch.  She is very down to earth and someone we can all relate too, she is so endearing and very honest about her life.  I had asked her if I could share her channel on my blog and she said I could:)  I added her latest vlog and the one below this one, is a very inspiring vlog about 100 things she would like to accomplish :)

Happy Sunday!

Here is a peek at our weather this week :)
COLD!

I brought my ferns inside, so they stay nice and happy....I don't want them freezing.

You all know, I collect cows, and I share them here every so often.  Here is my little cow sewing with her little sewing machine.  She sits on my dresser. I had left it behind here in Georgia the last time I lived here, and I am so grateful my SIL saved it for me....isn't she darling!

I also recieved my Better Homes and Garden Magazine this week.  So many magazines so little time...LOL......

Anything with Avocados has to be good, and you all know how much I love my salads :)

For dinner tonight we had baked chicken, steamed rice, lima beans and a salad :)

Can you believe Easter is right around the corner? 
Also, our one year anniversary moving to Georgia is this week, WoW!!! I will have to look back on my blog to see the exact dates when we left Cali and arrived in Georgia. 

That was fast.......

Saturday!

We were awoke very early this morning by thunder and lightening...and we are supposed to get it again tomorrow morning.  My little boy woke me up and said, "Mama, do you hear the thunder?"

This is the weather app on my IPad, it is so neat.......It is all live weather, not photo stills..the lightening flashes.....

I have to say, I totally am attracted to cute packaging...I just thought this shampoo for kids was the cutest...lol..

We did some shopping today, and I restocked some things:)

I am going to catch up on laundry after I post this.

For dinner tonight, my husband took over.
He made steak on the grill, baked potatoes, grilled asparagus, fried okra and garlic bread :)

Tomorrow, early morning, it is supposed to thunder and lightening again, so I expect I will be awoken by my little boy again, bless his heart :)

Artichokes :)

Artichokes, the kids and I just love these :)

I just steam them, and eat them plain.  My kids like melted butter.  When I was growing up, my grandmother would make them on special occasions, and stuff them. I am thinking the stuffing was an Italian thing.  She made them wonderfully.  Bread crumbs, garlic, parsley and Parmesan cheese and lots of butter :)
I make them more often though, than my Grandmother did.

Today. I took my sweet parrot to the groomers:)

When we got home, she went right to sleep :)
She was tired, my sweet girl.

Snack bags :)

I make these little snack bags for my daughters lunches :)  These are carrots, I also do grapes and other fun things that aren't already individually bagged .  If the snack bag carrots are on sale, I will buy those, if they aren't, I buy the bigger bags of carrots and make my own snack bags.

I also bought a big box of Cheez-its, so I will make some snack bags of those , too.

African Violets!

I got these beautiful African Violets for my kitchen :)  My husband picked out the pretty pots for them.  Putting a little spring time in my home!

Fresh Breath :)

You can always find mints in my purse.  It is one of my quirky quirks.  I have now added these into the mix.  I bought a 3 pack of these, one for my nightstand, one for my car and one for my purse :)

Spring is coming!
Although, I am more of a Fall and Winter girl!
I have so enjoyed the Seasons so far here in Georgia!
I do appreciate each season as it comes.  If you are a long time reader of my blog, than you know, I am a sundress, sandals kind of girl...that kind of contradicts my Fall and Winter part...LOl.  Hey, I am a Cali girl :)  You can take the Cali girl out of California, but you can not take California out of the Cali girl. 
I do so love the South though, very much!

   Here are some new hoop earrings I bought, always silver, never gold.  I did get some black ones too :)

I love these hair ties, they hold very nicely, but not too tight to give a headache!

Trees!

Good Monday Morning!
This morning I took my daughter to school, and these trees were all in bloom all over the neighborhood.  This photo does not do it justice, they are so beautiful!

It is supposed to rain today, so I am going to clean and organize both fridges.  I wanted to do it this weekend, but never got a chance.

It was such a beautiful weekend.  It was warm.  I bought these two ferns for my porch.  I just love the way they look :)
