Spray Wash, Floors, Tomatoes--Happy Tuesday!

It is Tuesday--and thank you all for your prayers for my children, Alexis is better---I think she was better an hour after she was home...LOL---Tony still sounds a little rough, but I give him credit for going to school--He knows I will rescue him if he needs to come home. Dinner was really good last night--Kevin wanted french fries instead of mashed potatoes, so french fries it was. Tonight I am going to make Italian sausage, Noodles with oil and garlic, veggies, and a salad.

I went to the store looking for this product I saw on TV --it was Shout Advanced and it got stains out that were all ready set in--I couldn't find that product, so I bought this--ohhh boy, does this work good---my new favorite product right now---and it smells delightful:)

I got the bucket out and filled it with soap and water and some bleach and washed all my floors in my home----don't get me wrong, I use my swiffer all the time--but a good scrubbing is what my floors needed:) I didn't do it on my hands knees though, I cheated a little and used my cotton head mop:) The floors look nice and my house smells clean--and all the rugs are ready to be put back down when they finish up in the dryer..I washed all bathroom rugs today too.

...Aren't these just gorgeous!!!! They are big too---The grocery store were having a nice sale on Tomatoes--and when my Dear Hubby was at the store, he brought these home---they are going to be so good in my salad.

Oh, the picture below of me in my apron--I had to giggle at my mirror, boy, did that need to be cleaned(don't look)---OOPS...LOL--oh well, such as life:) Have a great Tuesday--it is nice and cool out----so it is always nice to do housework.

Happy Monday!

Good Morning!!! Happy Monday ..I just LOVE Mondays. I worked on laundry over the weekend, still working on that. I also need to iron some things that did not come nice out of the dryer. I got everything out of the dryer fast enough, but, somethings just need to be pressed. For Sunday dinner, I made a pork roast---it came out so tender. SOOO, after I send this post, I am going to shred the rest of the pork, put it in my crock pot with BBQ sauce, and have pulled pork tonight for dinner. I will make a fresh green salad---and probably mashed potatoes---Cole slaw sounds good--but then I would have to run to the store--we shall see. It is a cool morning-and I have my pretty new apron on--it is so funny, I am trying so hard to be neat, so I don't get it dirty...LOL.

I had to clean the bird cage this morning and vacuum the feathers under neath---the girl bird, knocked over her food dish--and made a mess, she does that--the yellow bird, Sunshine, is so sweet, and the blue bird has quite an attitude...LOL.

Looky here--I got pumpkin pie incense--isn't that such a pretty little jar:)

I also made another stop at Grandmas (pictures below)---Alexis doesn't get to see her as much because of school, so I make special stops over the weekend too, so we can all visit:)

I have my list goingof all the things I want done this week--it is on the kitchen table, and as I get one thing crossed off--two more things pop on my paper that needs to be done. I REALLY need to mop my kitchen floor today, I seemed to have neglected it over the weekend---OOPS!!!

Alexis and Tony are both complaining of a sore throat and tummy ache--Alexis is laying on the couch, and Tony said he had to go school----I told Tony to call me any time, and I would zip right down to get him--the school is right down the hill--it takes me 2 minutes to get there--but when everyone goes for drop off and pick up--it takes up to thirty minutes----oh well:)

Well, I better get going---I hope everyone that stops by is having a wonderful, productive Monday!!! xoxoxo

Have A Wonderful Sunday!!!

Genesis 1-2:10 (King James Version)
King James Version (KJV)
Public Domain
Genesis 1
1In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
3And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
4And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
5And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
6And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
7And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
8And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.
9And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
10And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.
11And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
12And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
13And the evening and the morning were the third day.
14And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
15And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
16And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
17And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
18And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
19And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.
20And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
21And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
22And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
23And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.
24And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
25And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
26And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
29And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
30And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
31And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
Genesis 2
1Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
2And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
3And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

Wednesday

Ohhh, I want to make my Wednesday post before it is Thursday...LOL. Last night Kevin needed some things from the grocery store, he did not like the brand of deodorant he had picked out, and asked me to get a different kind.--Sooooo I did my big shopping trip today, which was nice. I got the sale paper, and made my list. I bought the big pack of pampers size 2, they go up to 18 pounds, Little Kevin is already 16 pounds--so I don't want to buy the mega box at Costco until next time--he will soon need size 3. I am going to my Grandma's on Friday to take her to the Doctor's, so I will also go to the Farmer's market too, because she lives right by it. I bought a small amount of fruits of veggies today, but I will load up on them on Friday. My menu for the next few days, consist of tacos, a roast, London broil on the grill cooked medium rare, more chicken--I also bought some ground beef, that I have to divide into smaller portions. I ran out of time today, so that will be done tomorrow. I have been up since 5:30, and I am tired---a good tired---a lot done tired------a sleep well tired----

I look at my children sleeping and just smile, and hope they are dreaming of wonderful things--the baby lets out a giggle in his sleep--I just wonder what he is dreaming of...sleep well my friends:) xox

Coffee and a Post

This morning after I dropped all the kids off at school--I hopped on the freeway and went to my Grandmother's---just in time for some fresh brewed coffee. We had a wonderful morning--she always tells me story's about Grandpa and when I was little and such. She calls Little Kevin, *Bobby's Boy*--I am not sure if you remember, we all refer to her as Bobby because she wears Bobby pins in her hair. I spent the weekend doing every stitch of laundry so I took the morning off today to visit my favorite person. That doesn't mean that NOW I don't have more laundry...LOL..because I do. Last night one of my dearest friends called me, and I had to tell her I had to call her back---Kevin had gotten home late and I had to fix his plate and clean the kitchen---then Little Kevin awoke and I nursed him and then fell asleep myself--so I woke thinking---OH NO--my friend--so I have to call her in a little bit and apologize for not calling her back--I know she had a lot to talk about, because lots of changes has gone on in her life.

Chicken is in the oven baking--a great sale on chicken bre*asts-----yay!!! We also have mashed potatoes, corn, spinach and a fresh green salad. I am cooking all the chicken, so tomorrow I can use the rest in either a casserole, noodles or dumplings---not sure yet. Tomorrow I am definitely staying home and doing some housework and such--plus getting my list ready for a great big grocery trip:) Ohh, I forgot on Friday, Bobby needs to go to a Doctor appointment, so I will be gone some on Friday.

I am charging my camera up--it was low, so I am going to take some updated pictures of Kevin, he is growing so much--and what a sweet personality he has, just like his Daddy!!!! I have been tivoing Martha, so maybe one day this week I will be able to see what great ideas she has. Also, the Duggars new episode is going to be September 21st--I am pretty sure, but I am going to double check just to make sure.

Well, what else.....I am setting up my home in *Fall Motif* I will take pictures and share my fall decorating/cooking/baking etc.

5 Minutes

What a difference 5 minutes makes---I think I have figured things out. Today was so nice and stress free--just because I left 5 minutes earlier then normal--I beat all the crazy traffic --yay.

I also made a mini notebook to keep in my car. I can't lug my big Home notebook around, and I just love pink. I printed out a calendar and added it and notebook paper for jotting down notes--now I can keep track of times and dates in my car--and look over them as I am waiting at one pickup point--including my grandmother's appointments too--and yes I do also have a mini book in my purse too--you never know when you may need to jot something down, or look something up--well at least I do..:)

Plus, I just love stationary, folders and pretty pens.

How many club cards do you have? I have a few small keychain cards and then I have bigger ones in my wallet for other stores, like VONS....I just thought I would take a picture and share this with you...
ohhhh, and this is something I just have to have on my key chain. I wear my key chain on my wrist--especially when I am holding my daughter's hands and holding the baby--oh it helps me not lose my keys. After I use them though and they are no longer needed, I do put them in my purse--but from the house to the car or the store to the car it is a life saver for me.

I am so happy today is Friday--what are your plans for the weekend? I have a big date with the washing machine--I am also going to go visit my Grandmother on Saturday for awhile. My grandmother is 88 and I want to spend as much time with her as I can. I want my children to *KNOW* her!!!!

I cleaned toilets today, and I also wiped down the children's bathroom sink area. I also brought out a few more fall decorations--I just love fall---

I will be back in a few xoxox

Thursday's Post

I woke up this morning at 6:00---and I was out the door at 7:35---On Wednesdays and Thursday's Tony starts school at 8:05--so I have to drop Alexis off first and then Tony--I walk Alexis up to her class while Tony stays with the baby--whew--I am running...LOL. Thank goodness that their schools are right down the street from each other--BUT--the traffic is insane---I live 2 minutes from the highschool but some times it can take me up to 25 minutes to get into the parking lot. I am managing to get my kids to there school on time--even the first day--but for some reason it seemed I was always a step behind, and I just was so sure I was on top of everything. You see I am very hard on myself, and I need to stop that. Kevin called me and told me everything would be okay--they are not going to lose Alexis--I know this, but she is only 6, and I have to be there for her---I went to get her and they have all the cars lined up and when my car gets up to the front, they have a lady with a bull Horn that calls Alexis's name---I got there and waited about ten minutes and I could see her, happily chatting with her friends, so I calmed down. Also, I am a little sad, that I won't be able to donate as much time to my kids school as I did before--but I am so happy to have Little Kevin. He is such a ball of sunshine--he had his well baby this morning after I dropped the kids off--he is doing really well--he is now 16 pounds--100% breastmilk!!! I can start giving him water if he wants it or if it is really hot--BUT, it has finally cooled off and all my windows are open--the breeze is wonderful!!!!!

I went shopping with my Grandmother yesterday, and went to the Farmer's Market--ohh, I got all sorts of nice fruits and veggies.

Ohhh, I forgot, on the first day of school, I had to stop by the WalMart--yes, WalMart---I needed to pick up a pair of FISKAR scissors and another notebook for Alexis, anyway, it was so nice, not crowded at all--YAY!!!! I love WalMart--but not the crazy crowds--so now that school is back I can start shopping there again...LOL.

I cleaned everything off of the floors upstairs and ran the vacuum through, now I have to do the downstairs.

Dinner will be something with groundbeef, not sure yet. Last night was pork chops. Okay---that is all for now xoxoxox

No Post Yesterday!

I didn't post yesterday. I was 100% frazzled. I will explain later. I have a lot of things I need to do, so I will be back later to blog and to visit all my friends. I am in better spirits today and hopefully things will calm down and get better--but sending my children off to school is just not fun.

Off to take my Grandmother shopping!!

XOXO

Labor day!!

I hope everyone is enjoying there Labor Day and last day of summer. I may be the oddball, but I am happy for summer to be over--I just sooooooo LOVE fall. Don't get me wrong I appreciate all of God's seasons--but Fall is may favorite and summer is just too hot (When I was a teenager, I loved going to the beach and playing in the water and getting a tan, but with little ones, unless Kevin is with me, I just don't feel safe going with all the kids without some help)...LOL.

My husband is working today---He will always work on his days off just to catch his guys up on there locating. All his hard work did pay off, he got a 5% raise on Friday--YAY HUBBY!!!

Anyway, tomorrow my children start back to school, so I have plenty to do today to make sure the rest of the week goes smoothly. Happy day to you all and try and stay cool--I can not wait until it cools off so I can turn the A/C off. xoxox

Happy, Happy Sunday!!!!

Welcoming in September---YAY!!!! Even though it is 100 degrees outside--I am slowly getting my home ready for Fall. Here is a vase filled with Apple and Cinnamon potpourri and a candle on my dining room table. I want you to meet *Fred* He was at Walmart trying to avoid the crowds--I saved him for only $6.84--My Grandmother bought his twin:) He is now guarding my door. I just love my new scarecrow.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Sunday and is able to stay cool!!!

Banana Bread

We needed to use up some bananas that were turning ripe really fast--and I didn't want to start filling up my freezer with bananas right now. Alexis and I made banana bread this morning, and oh boy did my home smell wonderful.

Here is Alexis getting the bananas ready, cutting them and then smashing them--she also helped measure out the ingredients and crack the eggs.

Here is the bread right out of the oven.

Ta-Da!!! It tasted really good---especially with all that love in there from my daughter:)

I used the recipe out of my Betty Crocker Cookbook.

Backpacks

I went to my Grandmother's yesterday--not only is she my grandmother, and took over the part as my mother when my mother no longer could, she is also my best friend!!! I love here dearly.

Anyway, I called her in the morning and asked her if I could come over and visit--and she said yes. So the kids and I went. When we were there she mentioned that her Grocery store was having a Re-Grand openeing and she would like to go and pick up a few things and see the store all remodeled. My grandmother can't drive anymore due to bad eyesight--so I am her driver, she tells me where she wants to go and off we go...LOL.

We actually braved Wal-Mart---Bobby(My Grandmother) wanted a new puzzle, so we went there---I said, well as long as we are here I might as well look at the backpacks--ohhh it was crazy busy---I was getting a little flustered, I mean no one was saying excuse me, or moving to the side--it seemed it was every man for himself---UGH!! Okay, I didn't mean to vent---(Yes I did..LOL) Anyway, here are the back packs-----> Alexis wanted a rolly back pack, and Tony wanted a simple black one.

Okay, I need a lunch bag for Alexis, not a metal box but a bag, and I could not find one at WalMart nor did any one working at Walmart know where I could find one in that mess...so I am definitely going to wait for Kevin to be home, so I can go run to a store and pick up a lunch bag with out the baby--because it is so hard to maneuver the cart and see over it with so many people not being polite (Giggles--another vent about the people at the stores).

Okay, I have another post I am going to make about some other things I picked up--but I must take my Banana bread out of the oven--YUMMY!!

P.S. I so enjoyed Show and Tell yesterday.

Show and Tell

Kelli is hosting her Show and Tell---which I just love. Thank you Kelli. So make sure you hop on over to her blog and look at all the wonderful links there, and leave your own.

My Show and Tell, is a pillow. When my son was 5, he had asked me for 5 dollars for school---he said all the kids are going shopping in the school store for Christmas. It was already wrapped when he brought it home, and he set it under the tree for me----it was the most beautiful gift:) It is a pillow that stays on my bed always--and whenever I look at it, I remember the little boy that I use to carry. When he was tired from Karate, he asked me to carry him to the car---as I was holding him, I said, "Tony, pretty soon I am not going to be able to carry you", and he said, "That is okay Mommy, because when I get big, I will carry you!!!"

My son is getting big, he is 15 now--I tell him this story, does he remember it? I am not sure, but it makes us both smile:)

Wonderful (HOT) Wednesday

Good evening. Kevin had called me to tell me that the phone guy is having trouble with the phone lines in his new office, so it would be awhile and not to make an elaborate dinner. Then Tony called me to ask if he could stay over at his friends---so now it was just Alexis and I, and of course Little Kevin. Alexis was in complete disbelief when I told her it was just going to be leftovers--oh, she was not happy..LOL. So what did I do? I made some noodles with Parmesan cheese--or *stinky* cheese as she calls it---she was happy--and I was actually happy that such a small gesture could make such a difference, and my little one so happy.

Some of my grass has died so Kevin had sprinkled some grass seed--so I was watering it a little bit today---and told Alexis to get in her bathing suit--and I watered the grass as she ran through it---I took pictures of it too--I will post them up tomorrow--Little Kevin sat in his bouncer in the shade, while my doggy ran for his life not to get wet---because the hose would accidentally squirt him if he got to close...LOL

I cleaned my birdy cage--they sure can make a mess. I have to vacuum under their cage everyday---or I will have feathers and seed everywhere. They sing all day too. I washed all of Little Kevin's clothes today--did I mention, he is rolling over--and over and over....I layed him on the floor on his blanket--and turned around and bam he was already flipped...he sure is getting really good with his neck muscles too.

School starts next Tuesday--Tony starts at 7:40 and Alexis starts at 7:45--Now, I am going to figure out what time I need to be up, to wear I can get everything done nicely in the morning and not have every one rushing--I don't like rushing or running late--and I am sure my kids don't like it either--I like things calm and organized. Breakfast needs to be done, and lunches and snacks need to be made--clothes picked out, etc....all, this while trying to keep Little Kevin happy too. I know I will set into a routine soon after--and hopefully smoothly:)

The dishwasher is going and I will unload it first thing tomorrow morning--I have a load of towels to do too----I also need to get new back packs for the kids, but I was hoping Kevin would be home early one night so I could run to the Walmart without baby Kevin--The Walmart has been crazy busy lately---and it is hard sometimes to maneuver the cart with Little Kevin in it--I am short so it is hard to see over him in the cart, and I tend to run over people sometimes...j/k:)
