As promised pictures of my new iPhone X  It is as glorious as you have heard.  I love it so much!!
It keeps its' charge which is a wonderful thing....my last phone the battery kept draining fast.  This is soooo nice :)

Today was a really great day.

We spent the day at the pool and soaked up some vitamin D.

Then the clouds rolled in.

Storms were supposed to hit us, but it seemed like it was mainly just thunder.

I was able to run my 5K today also..it really helps me feel good.

I love to run..I run at my own pace..LOL.

Sooooo, lately my phone was not keeping it's charge..it was getting frustrating, because I need my phone and to always worry about the battery was not fun.  So off we went to the apple store and I got a brand new iPhone X..it is absolutely BEAUTIFUL.

I also got a new phone case, which I will show on here as soon as my phones are done transferring info.  The case is a beautiful

Kate Spade case with little roses and then I got the ring instead of a pop it...we will see if I like the ring better.  I was not too fond of the pop it...LOL...I know, I am odd.  Everyone loves the pop it.  I think I will like the ring better.  Better hold for me.

I cleaned my fridge today..I mean really deep cleaned it..took everything out and cleaned and sanitized it..it is squeaky clean now.

I posted pictures of my dinner.  I have made these Ranch Potatoes a lot and they are a family favorite.  I have used different kinds of potatoes, but the red potatoes are the best for this recipe..trust me.  It is a really forgiving recipe....

You really can not mess it up..add a lot of cheese or a little.  A lot of onion or none at all...and the RANCH packet is the best...LOVE IT!!  Yes, I use some processed food....;)

...AND!!!!  THE FOIL!!!  THAT is the best idea ever...helps cook the potatoes perfectly and the cleanup could not be easier :)  Let me know if you make these

Slow Cooker Cheesy Ranch Potatoes

Ingredients
 6-8 small red potatoes
1 large onion, thinly sliced
2½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 package dry ranch seasoning packet
2 T butter
½ cup sliced green onions

Instructions
Line your slow cooker with aluminum foil. Leave enough to over hang so that you can wrap the potatoes on the top once in the slow cooker.
Spray the inside of the foil with cooking spray and layer half of the potatoes along the bottom. Next layer with half of the green onions, onion, ranch packet and top with cheese. Repeat the layers and top with cheese reserving ½ cup.
Cover the potatoes with remaining foil. This helps them to steam and cook perfectly. Cook on low for 4-6 hours in your slow cooker. Once finished, top with remaining ½ cup cheese and let melt on the top.
Top with the rest of the  green onions

It's been a beautiful summer so far...very busy and so much going on.
We went and saw Jurassic World..LOVED IT!!!

My daughter was able to spend a week on the beach, she just got back a few days ago
...we will be going back to the beach very soon and I will take you a long when we go.
We went a while back and it was soooo fun.  My best friend and her family came with us..
It was a jam packed VayCay...LOL

Kevin turned 11 :)

My sweet boy turned 11 in April..we had a jam packed birthday week...we went to Longhorn's for his birthday dinner (allergy safe)  Then we went all day to Six Flags...and then shopping and presents galore.  You only turn 11 once and boy did we celebrate it!

Today is Monday and July 2nd  We are in the middle of summer.  A beautiful warm summer.
We went out to dinner tonight and had some pizza.
It was a nice easy day.

We go swimming a lot as we have a pool here in our subdivision.  A beautiful subdivision it is too.  My husband bought me our forever home here and I just love it soooo much!

Running on Sunshine

When my very first baby was born, oh so many years ago...sometimes feels like yesterday,,,,I would put Tony in his stroller and walk...I walked all over our little beach town.  I walked so much people recognized me when I was out at other places..LOL    I really enjoyed those days, life was so simpler then.  It is funny, I didn't realize it until now.  What I thought was hard, was actually easy.  My love for those long walks did not stop with Tony...I did it with all my children.  Now that my children are all either grown up or in school...my love for walking has turned to running.  I run, and I run a lot!!!!  I run so much, my husband got me these running shoes for Christmas.  One of my very favorite gifts of all times.  I put my earbuds in and turn on a favorite youtuber and run.....I may not be good, I may not be fast...but it is my journey, and I love it!!!!  It helps so much with my anxiety of sending Kevin to school.  That is so hard to overcome...but with each new day it does get easier :)

January 18th, 2018..Thursday..SNOW DAY!!

So...here we are....another snow day...I love it...LOL.
It is so pretty and cold!
After living in California for almost my whole life..these seasons are glorious.

Don't get me wrong, sometimes they are a little scary and stressful, but I do love Georgia!!
We are in our forever home that I hope one day to have tons of grandbabies and great grandbabies in.

We are snowbound today, so what am I going to do...I have a plan...
I am going to deep clean my crockpots...they need it!
My one crockpot was given to me by my grandmother, so I must take extra care of it.

New Car!!

YES!!!

Yes, he did....lol


My husband had bought me a brand new Ford Edge over 5 years ago.  I kept that car in pristine condition  The dealer said he had never seen a car so well kept.  The teacher in the carline said she had never seen such a clean car in the carline...why, because I clean it and take pride in what I have.  I don't trash my things especially things my husband has worked very hard to give me  Anyway, those compliments really made me feel good.  The little things.

Anyway, it was time.  We traded my Edge for a 2018 Ford Explorer with all the bells and whistles.. I LOVE MY CAR...lol... it makes me happy  

If you have been reading here for any amount of time, you will know, I don't practically love driving...but, in this car...I love driving... ;)

I wanted to put this in my blog so I could keep it for my memory.

Thank you for my car.  I feel like a princess

Oh, also, my sweet beautiful girl turned 16 last June and she got her Driver's license....I was so proud :)
She is also is in Dual enrollment at school...high school and college.
So for her birthday in June, we got her a brand new Ford Focus :)
I love Ford.

My little one came in third in the school spelling bee against 2 fifth graders.  He is in 4th grade...LOL  Smart little cookie he is :)


.....and my Tony, he will be married soon.  He has found "the" girl <3 br="">
No school today or tomorrow due to inclement weather and impassable roads.

It has been snowing a lot here.

Today's plan is to do an extreme cleaning day...I have my list ready and I am ready to go......Happy Monday :)
