The sky here in Georgia is always different.  Such beautiful art work in the sky :)  Never a dull day...or night...LOL.

It is supposed to rain in about an hour, and I never tire of the rain...makes me so happy :)

Tuesday!! ~~~Supplies :)

Good Morning!
Hope you all slept well.
Hope this day is wonderful to all who stop by my little blog.
I started this Blog so long ago, I think in about 2 years this month it will be a whole decade???
Anyway, I have been picking up school supplies here and there.  Kevin needs a 3 ring binder for school, so I got him a blue one.  I would like to figure out how to put a picture of Sonic the Hedgehog on it...yes, he is still crazy about Sonic.  I also need to get him a haircut before school..I let him go haircut free for summer...but now it is time.  School starts August 4th.  I am so excited for Fall to start.
My daughter is really getting into beauty things...she likes to get her hair done, she likes her eyebrows perfectly done..etc..she isn't into makeup too much, but she does like a lot of other things...Clothes, loves clothes.  I was really happy when we went clothes shopping, she wanted more dresses than anything else :)
We have had a nice summer.....
Also, I turn 44 Thursday, July 24th...44???

One more thing, my Tony is moving back home!!
He said Home is where the family is, not where he thought he would be happy.  He wants to be back around his Mama :)
My heart is full!
Oh, did I mention, Alexis got braces~~~Fun Times...LOL.

School!

School will be starting up very soon.  I get that worrisome feeling in my stomach thinking about my son and his peanut allergy.  Oh, how I hope they find a cure soon.  I got his new set of Epi~Pens, which helps me breath just a little bit easier.  Those Epi~pens go with us everywhere, where ever he is, his Epi~pen is right there.  This is our "normal" .  This is his "normal". Every label is always read, every time.  Everything is researched.  Our home is his safe place.....he can relax and not worry about nuts....
I read labels once, twice sometimes three times or more.  Just talking with someone about this can bring tears to my eyes because it can be quite scary.  This is our "normal".  This is his "normal".  I don't let him see me cry, I don't let him see the worrisome l feel every time a new food is tried.  I get scared, I pray, I pray a lot!  I love my son so much!  I love all my children so very much.  I am thankful to God he gave me such awesome kids! We are learning together my son and I, because this is our "normal".

Pool Time!

Spent the good part of the day at the pool!!!  I got a little more sun then I wanted too...OOPS!  It was fun though, and Little K will sleep good tonight!

My sweet girl has turned 13!!

Can you believe it?  Time is just flying by so fast.
I was able to take her shopping to the mall for new clothes and  I was so happy, that she wanted more dresses than anything else...LOL.  She went through a jeans only phase...so now she wanted some "Girly" clothes.

Kevin painted this in school.  I just love it.  It is just so happy :)  I framed it and put it in the Great room for everyone to see.  I did have it hanging in my "office"...but I was the only one who could see it...so I moved it to a more appropriate spot.

A Gift!

I can not remember if I shared this on my blog or not.  For Mother's Day, my husband got me the Little House complete season set!!  SUPER AWESOME GIFT...LOL.  Oh, how I love the Little House :)

I spend a lot of time in the kitchen, so I watch the Little House in the kitchen.  I have a computer in there so I am able to watch my Little House, and I really love to watch Vlogs from other SAHM's on YouTube too.

The picture above is when the storm rolled in...it was quite a fantastic sight!

It poured for awhile and then stopped...and after it stopped raining the sky became this glorious color and a rainbow appeared during the night sky. 
God can sure do some amazing things :)

 Pretty exciting weather is going on here in Georgia :)  LOVE the rain!

We are able to sneak pool time in between rainstorms.

Our yard is coming along!
I just found out the plants all along the border of our home on one side are Canna Lillies...oh, how pretty it will be when they bloom.
I just planted Elephant Ears, too...oh, how I adore these plants...LOL.

Lasagna

I made Lasagna over the weekend.  It is the before and after I cooked it picture :)  It was super cheesy.  Very easy to make.  I used jar sauce so it was even easier.  Lots of Ricotta and Mozzarella cheese.  I made meatballs on the side for the meat lovers in the family.

Today is the first day, of our real summer break...Kevin was off yesterday for Memorial Day, so today is the first "normal" day.  It felt odd not waking up and doing the school routine :)

We did a lot of yard work over the weekend.  We had such a beautiful yard at our other house, we are determined to get this one back on track, it was quite neglected :(  We put red mulch all over and it looks so beautiful.  I can't stop going outside and looking at it...LOL.  I am determined to get "Yard" of the month.

Today it is supposed to rain, so I am going to try and get my "office" organized. 
Than tomorrow, will start our pool daze...we have a lovely pool in this neighborhood, so I am excited to go :)
Dinner tonight will be leftovers, we have massive amounts of leftovers!

This is the last week of school and then summer begins, YaY!!!
I posted some pictures, one is my daughter from the Dance studio, one is from Kevin's graduation. A few from his 7th birthday, we had a bowling party :)
My daughter made the honor roll and got 5 A's and 1 B...she is now, on her way to eighth grade in the honor advanced courses...I am so proud.  Kevin has mastered all 240 sightwords, and got an award for that...there is not a word he can not read...I have no idea what reading they can possibly teach him next year...he knows how to read everything...LOL.
Tony is still in Cali and I miss him so much.  I love the texts out of the blue from him just saying "I Love You"
My husband is working hard, always working hard!
We were supposed to have a "Date Night" last week, but I got terribly sick and we could not go.  I am feeling back to my old self and hopefully we can plan one again...I can not remember the last time we went out just him and me :)
I am so looking forward to summer...carefree days with my kids...going swimming and just being together:)

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!

Ours was lovely.  I made a Bunny Cake, pictured above :)  Kevin colored Easter Eggs, and Alexis didn't want too...she is growing up.  We had Ham and all the fixings.

Right before Easter, Alexis went on a trip to Washington DC.  I didn't realize there was so much to see.  Here is a picture of the White House.  I am waiting for the teacher to send me the CD of pictures she has, she has a picture of Alexis in front of the White House.  I was so excited for her to go on this trip :)  She really enjoyed it and learned a lot

Today is Tuesday and the weather has been lovely.  It is supposed to start raining this afternoon, so I want to refill my hummingbird feeders before the rain...LOL.  I just love hummingbirds, and they have returned:)

I really like our new home.  I want to hang some curtains up downstairs and in my bedroom this time, instead of just having blinds...I think it will add a touch of coziness to the house.  I just wish I had some decorating sense...LOL.....

April 7th 2014~~~~ Monday!

Good Morning!
I hope everyone had a wonderful March!
Our March was extremely busy.  We moved.
Below is a picture of our new home, it is just a little ways down the road from our other home that we lived in.
I have to say this was probably the hardest and most exhausting move I have ever done...moving across the country was not this difficult.

I have been working on unpacking everything and putting everything in its place, while still trying to do all the normal things that need to be done, like school, lunches, dinners and laundry......We are on Spring Break this week which I am so happy about!

Ammonia!

Did you all know about this?  The amazing thing that Ammonia can do?  I have to say that ammonia is very intimidating to me...I mean what exactly do you do with it?  I got a whiff of it and oh, boy..is it strong!!!!  Be very careful not to breathe this in.

Okay, so I was on a mission to get my stove and oven sparkly clean, like new sparkly clean......I scrubbed the gas grates until my fingers went numb...LOL...
I am a very clean person, and I think I do a pretty good job keeping my home clean :)  I am talking clean, not messy.  Of course with kids there will be toys here and there, but the floor is clean and the toys are clean...LOL..Did that make sense.  Okay back to my stove/oven....I could not get the grates or racks clean...so I posted a question on Facebook, and a few people had mentioned to put the grates in a plastic bag, like a ziploc, add a little Ammonia and let it sit for 24 hours, outside.  Well, I did it, and it was AMAZING!!!!  The grime pretty much just fell off......Wear gloves, too when working with Ammonia.  I was so impressed.  I am going to do some pots and pans that need some TLC, too :)

Tomorrow is back to school...can you believe it??  They have had a nice long 2 weeks off...and I am so sad to let them go.....How many days until Easter Break?

Okay, so March 8th or around there things should be back to normal and settled down....a lot of things have been going on, hence my lack of blogging for awhile, sometimes I didn't know if I was coming or going.  I am sure you have all had days like that....I have done a lot of praying and just Letting Go and Letting God.

Dinner tonight was take out.  My husband and I did some shopping late this afternoon.  I needed things for school lunches.  Alexis has a choice to buy or bring and she wants homemade lunches..Little Kevin does not have a choice, because of his food allergies, I will probably always make his lunch...I don't mind.  Sometimes I fall in a rut and run out of ideas on what to pack for them....Kind of like dinner...LOL.

My Kirby Vacuum died on me...such a sad, sad, sad day..I LOVE MY KIRBY!!!
Anyway, we have to take it in for repairs.  We got a new vacuum to use while we wait, and it is nice to have a few vacuums, especially when you have stairs.....Okay, I really LOVE our new vacuum..it is a Eureka Airspeed Exact Pet Model, it was 79.00 :)

No matter what vacuum I use, it tends to break...everyone says that it has to do with how much I vacuum..which is everyday....don't you all vacuum everyday?  Is that not normal...LOL.....
