Rainy Day!!

It's Friday and a rainy day.  The leaves are falling....which are really hard to keep up with.  We get them up once a week, and then in about an hour they are all back...LOL

We have had such a nice Fall Break :)

Tonight's dinner will be a chicken casserole, since I have leftover chicken from last night's chicken :)

I took Kevin to get a haircut today...he is extremely easy going....but he does not like getting haircuts....

Happy September!  Fall is almost officially here~~~~YaY!  I Love, Love, Love Fall.  I made this wreath and think it looks so happy!

Fred will be coming out today, too!

We are now busy into school, and we are all enjoying it.  While I miss my kids, I do participate quite a bit at their schools, so I see them often.

Happy Thursday, it's almost the weekend.

Good Morning!
It is Thursday, and it is a very warm day here in Georgia :)

 This is the cabbage casserole...I know it looks like mush, BUT, trust me, it was a huge hit!!!  I made fresh dinner rolls, corn on the cobb and a nice green salad....It was a really nice dinner.

Last but not least, a picture of yours truly!!  Can you believe how long I have been writing this blog????  Almost a decade??!!!  Who would have thunk....LOL  :)

On Tuesday, Donald Trump announced he is running for President~~~He has my vote.  I think he and Ben Carson should team up.  I so want our beautiful country to get back on track.

We are on summer break, I think I have mentioned that several times...LOL.  I am painting our deck, I am doing a little at a time, and it is really looking good.  It is a job, especially in this heat...so a little bit at a time is a good thing!

Father's Day is this Sunday, so I will be making a nice dinner for my husband and my Father in Law....My Dad is in Cali, so I will call him.  I have the best Dad ever :)

I hope every one who stops by has a wonderful Thursday, and remember if it is too hot for you outside, it is too hot for your pets...bring everyone inside!

A Teeny, Tiny Bit of Food Prep :)

A Little DIY's :)

 I found these twigs outside and spray painted them silver and then tied a pretty white bow around them and hung them on my wall in my living room, I think it looks really pretty and kind of "farmy"

 I love Ball Jars.....I took these two and left them clear and filled them with q-tips and cotton balls and put them on my vanity sink :)

I also took this Ball Jar and spray painted it white, tied a bow around the top and put flowers in them.  I placed it on top of my fridge between my cow canisters ...I love the look :)

Raining :)

It is suppossed to rain all week, It started yesterday....here are some pictures around the home :)

 I snapped pictures of these beauties yesterday before the rain started..aren't they gorgeous, they are in my garden....They make me smile everytime I see them...I have a whole row of them!!

Ferns

I have hanging ferns on my porch now.  My porch looks so happy now :)  I just love a wrap around porch.

Googly Eyes!

  I forgot to show Kevin's presents that I wrapped for his Birthday.  I put googly eyes on his presents...LOL.  Plus I used Sonic Blue wrapping papaer, because you know, no other color would do..  ;)

Kevin got a Lego Set for his Birthday......We did it, we actually built it...YaY!!!!

Kevin Turned 8 :)

 April 26th my "Baby" turned 8!!!!  Time flies when you are having so much fun.  I love watching him grow.  He is such a kind and compassionate child, I love him from the sun to the moon :)

You all know I love my juicer...I'm telling you, it is the key to staying slim ;)

In the picture is "GREEN" juice...and then, a slice of toasted sourdough, mashed avocado <~~~Avocados are a good fat your body needs ..... an egg white...I also put a little slice of white cheese......

The bird houses were given to me by a very dear friend...once it stops raining I am going to paint them and spiff them up a bit...I will show you what they look when they are done :)  The G on the front of my home, my husband got me for my Birthday one year......I LOVE IT!!!

Tonight for dinner I am making a pasta bake...along with a nice green salad, and a steamed veggie...gotta have those veggies ;)  Have a super Friday XO XO

For Valentine's Day, I asked for a new set of pots and pans...and this what my husband got me :)  I was in such need of new pans...it had been I think over a decade since I had new pans...it was time, and I soooooo love my new pans....and they match my new kitchen....red ;)

Fresh Mulch :)

 Over the weekend we put down fresh mulch.  I think it looks so beautiful.  Kevin bought 30 bags and we probably need about 100 more bags....a lot to fill.  Oh, it will look so nice when it is done :)

 I also hung some hummimgbird feeders....one hummingbird has already claimed this one and is determined to chase the other hummers away :)
