Lobster Feast can not go unnoticed, everything under the sea was in this awesome presentation

Served on ice..with lemon, shell crackers, little forks, your appetizer plate

Everything was shelled in a way for easy access...simple!

The coffee, is my absolute favorite part of this whole dinner experience.  They bring you your very own French Press and it is just deliciousness all to yourself...lol.  I love the white coffee cups, just like home.  You can see I wore pink lipstick...LOL..The inside of my face masks are pink..in fact, my face masks when I need to wear them are pink.

                       Shoestring potatoes...super crispy, like potato chips.

Everyone had steaks, lobster macaroni and cheese, you can see a picture of it above next to the shoestring fries. Creamed spinach was also served which was absolutely scrumptious!!

It was a celebration of my husband.  It was his birthday dinner and oh boy, what a birthday dinner it was.

They ended it with a beautifully plated cheese cake dessert with the words "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" written in chocolate 

 I must end this with the coffee...lol.

Pink Nails

Happy Tuesday!!

Hope you all are having a most happy day!!!

We had a really bad thunderstorm roll through here last night...the only reason I know this is my phone kept alerting me..if it wasn't for my phone, I would probably have slept through it all.

I painted my nails pink.  What do you think?  What color do you like?

Today felt like a summer day, it was quite lovely...considering what went on the night before....

Tonight I made this super yummy casserole..it turned out quite good...I will share it next...

Hope you all are well.  I go to the eye doctor this week, so stay tuned for my new glasses.  I can not wait.

I ran to Walmart and bought some binders for my homeschool adventures. I need more orgnization....

I woke up bright and early and ran my 3.5 miles.....that is such a great way to start the day.
I had a cup of coffee with sweet cream, yummy!!!
I got these yummy granola bars at Costco that I eat after I run...I also got these chocolate covered figs..they are super yummy and very low calorie....and good!

We are trying to get out to California, but the airlines keep changing our flights....I really NEED to see my dad, I miss him so much!

The New Year and all That It Entails!

 

Well hello there!!

Waving!!

I hope January is starting out well for all of you.  We are in the throws of Virtual learning.  My son is a rockstar in math, and that is a good thing, considering I have no clue about "NEW MATH"...lol.

I have been busy with my Peloton and running.  Virtual learning, laundry, virtual learning, laundry and making the most delicious dinners....tee hee!!

I made Little Cheddar Meatloaves for dinner last night.  Recipe is from Taste of Home, so you can find the recipe easily;) ...I will insert pictures here:

Tonight is family fun night, so that means someone in our family gets to pick out the restaurant.  Nothing is closed here and we are all careful. 

The weather this week has been a little chilly and wet...not a lot of rain, but just a lot of wet.

I woke up early today to start my day...I am going to go for a run, help finish up school and maybe run up to Whole Foods for something I want...we shall see.

We made it to the end.... to the end of the year and my year of blogging....

What a year, huh?

Who could have ever thought what this year could have been like?

I am a bit sad that Trump did not get the presidency.... I feel like the new president did not win it authentically ....

Sigh!!

I do love my Trumpy Bear and I am so appreciative of everything we have and what IS yet to come...

My word for 2021 is coming....
