My husband is on his way home. This weekend will consist of shopping, laundry, a birthday party, Tony's Choice of a restaurant on Sunday,---(That is the night he picked for his Birthday dinner--Works for us) and church.
I was not able to do my grocery shopping--Kevin usually tells me what my budget is and I go from there----or I pretend I know, and I go shopping anyway--but with being room mom today, and I still have to go pick up a gift for my nephew for his birthday tomorrow, I was thinking of just waiting until Monday--where I can take my time and not rush through it. I got all the sale papers, and I want certain things from each store. Don't forget to buy Corned beef for St. Patricks Day----
After school today, I did take Alexis to McDonald's to play in the play land--we had gone to the park all week so this was something different--I got a salad for 1.00 and she got a fish sandwich--fun, fun, fun:)
Well, I have some things to do--I will be back probably tomorrow with a more interesting post--but for now Have a wonderful Evening xoxoxox

Sounds like a nice, normal day! :o) I've never made corned beef. I'm going to rummage through some cookbooks and consider that. If I happen to remember - I usually make Irish Potato Soup on St. Patrick's Day.
Have a great weekend Julieann! Not many left before your wee one is here! :o)
Just coming by to say Hi! Hope you have a wonderful week-end..=)
Hi Julieann! We always have corned beef on St. Patrick's Day too. I hope you had a great day!
Hugs,
Kelli
Thanks for the reminder Julieann! Sometimes I wait too long and they are all gone. In 10 years of marriage, I think I've had at least 3 late St. Patrick's Day corned beefs!
sounds like you had a wonderful day! Sounds like you will be having a busy weekend!
We never do much on St. Patricks Day besides wear green. I may have to start some new traditions!
Wow! Sounds like corned beef and St. Pats is a big tradition down there in the States....? We've never done anything to celebrate it, but it sounds interesting... I'm trying to make some traditions with my kids... Do you do anything else on that day?

Hi Heather---What I do is for St. Patrick's day--is I make Corned Beef and Cabbage--and potatoes--make green jello, green kool-aid- etc....Also, you have to wear green--it doesn't have to be all green, but something green--some people will pinch you if you don't wear green..(oops) Put a green table cloth down, I made a huge green clover for my front door---I just do a few little things to make this day fun:)
I have on occasion had a green beer too--but not this year though;P
Julieann:)
