Show and Tell

Show and Tell Friday is here--Yay. Kelli is hosting Show and Tell at her blog---so please hop on over to her blog and look at all the wonderful links.

Okay, this is my Show and Tell. Maybe someone out there seeing this can help me with it too. My great grandmother on my mother's side had given me this pin when I was about 5 years old. So all I know about it is, it is more than 30 years old. This was my favorite pin when I was little--I played with it constantly. The little girl on the front fascinated me. There is a crack going a cross the front, but it is still cute. I just wish I knew where it came from. My (Maternal)Great Grandmother, Grandmother and Mother have all passed, so I can't ask any of them about it---but it sure is a curious looking pin, and one that I treasure. If anyone has seen a pin like this or knows anything about this kind of pin, let me know please

It is a small pin
This is the back-->

Thank you for looking at my pin--do you ever have crazy hair days like that...LOL

  23. I was hoping I was going to learn what kind of pin this was when I read all the previous comments. I don't know what kind it is either, but it looks enamel? It's an adorable little treasure. You might take it by some antique stores and see what they might know. Also, if you have a flickr account, you could share the picture with your question and post it in a vintage jewelry group. Somebody knows the answer! Now we all want to know ;-)
