Happy Monday!

I am baking a chicken for tonight's dinner--and then I am going to make something else with the leftover meat--and use the carcass for more stock. Remember FlyLady's Rubber Chicken?

It is soooooooooooooooo very warm here--it was about 90 degrees yesterday. I got a lot of my cleaning done over the weekend.

Christmas decorating is going to be a bit different this year---it is going to be all about the bow:) I am going to put bows all over the tree and the front gate----I am staying away from anything glass, because of my little toddler:) I think it is going to be very pretty--I am going through the decorations and making a list of things I may need.

Happy Monday

  4. I am so getting ready to decorate for Christmas. I think this year I am going to go with a natural/colonial theme. The weather this week is really tempting me to start decorating early. Here is tonight and tomorrows forecast where I live at in WV:

Tonight: Snow showers, mainly after 3am. Low around 22. North wind between 7 and 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Total nighttime snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible.

Tuesday: Snow showers likely, mainly before noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 25. North wind between 11 and 16 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.

The boys are hoping for a snow day tomorrow!

  5. Love the bow idea. When my kids were little we put the Christmas tree in the playpen one year. Worked great and always brings giggles every time we get out the pictures from that year.

  6. Wow, 90 degrees! Nice. I have been thinking about getting ready for decorating too. We had our first frost here this morning. Good thing I got my bulbs in the other day.

  7. 90! I thought the 80's we had last week were high.

Glass and toddlers don't go very well together. I can't wait to see pictures of the results.

    Have a great day!

  9. I love bows, that's going to look very cute. Can't wait to see pics.

I'm going with a lot of white lights, simplicity this year. I usually do some small christmas trees in the flower bed and put lights and bows on them
