I heard the most wonderful thing and I want to put it into my own words before I forget:
It is about that so called *me* time a lot of mother's are after--this is what I think about *me* Time--->
Forget about *ME* time give me *MORE* time with my children---life is just too precious---and our littles grow so quickly!

I think you know I completely agree with that statement. I constantly here "me" time and I can't relate to the need for it.
ReplyDeleteWell said Julieanne. :)
Amen, Julieann! And good for you speaking your mind to an unpopular idea!
ReplyDeleteI have been guilty of saying this. Then I get convicted because I know that I really get time to myself and I love being at home and spending time with my littles. I would like more time with my little ones, but I think with better scheduling I could have more God time. If I make the effort I can have time with God and my outlook at home changes and I crave time with my family and I am not so selfishly thinking. Thanks for the thought!
ReplyDeleteMy "me" time is going grocery shopping alone, without my kids. I love taking them to trips to the library, or on little errands like the Post Office or the bank, but I simply cannot, cannot, CANNOT concentrate at the grocery store when my 2 year-old is with me. The baby is not so hard, but still...I can get it done a lot faster and more efficiently with no kids. :0)
ReplyDeleteAmen!! I completely agree with you, Julieann!!!
ReplyDeleteHis,

Great post. I always want more time with my kids too. They do grow up so quickly.
