This is Kelli's Show and Tell Friday! I look forward to this everyweek--I may not play every week, but I do enjoy looking at everyone's Show and Tell's :o) So, please go over to Kelli's and leave your own link for something you would like to share and visit everyone there too.
This is a picture my son made me when he was in the second grade---it hangs on my wall and has hung on my wall since he gave it to me. My son is no longer a little boy--in fact he turns 16 on Wednesday, It seems like yesterday they placed this tiny little baby in my arms--and now he is head and shoulders above me...LOL--I treasure this picture because those days of little boy art work from him are gone, but the memories will always be there:)

How sweet. The memories always remain. My daughter will be 35 this year and I still have a few beautiful works of art as well. Thanks for sharing this important treasure!
ReplyDeleteAhhhhhhhhhhhh how sweet is that? Thats like looking at a hug hanging on a wall!
ReplyDeleteI have kept some of the special pictures and cards my three kids did when they were little. The fridge door is still the place to put artwork - currently sporting two daubs from delightful twins (aged 2) belonging to a Forum friend of mine.

Happy Weekend to you and yours Julieann.
How touching & tender! Our son, our youngest, is 17 and I have enough memories to last a lifetime of those sweet days gone by when he was a little guy and I was the most important person in the world to him! Sigh, thanks for reminding me of those times, all too quickly passed!

That is so sweet. I have a couple but haven't done anything with them. I just might have to frame them.
ReplyDeleteI'd keep that forever too. Those boys really seem to grow quickly, don't they?
ReplyDeleteI have some art like that too! Babies grow up way too fast!

How how sweet is that? I love the watercolor background as well. DOes does he look at it and smile or do the shy aw shucks mom. LOL
ReplyDeleteWow--that has hung up there for some time!! I am surprised it stood up that long!! Nice memories.
ReplyDeleteTwo of my four children are taller than me now...boo hoo. It's very weird. When I want to look don menacingly and use a "scary voice" to get them in line...I forget, and have to loo UP instead *U*
ReplyDeleteThen I laugh.
Can't wait for grandkids.
Oh Julieann!!
ReplyDeleteThis is SO sweet!!! I love that you still hang it up, too. And he'll be 16 soon!! OH MY STARS!!!! Don't the years just fly by!!!
Blessings friend!

ReplyDeleteThat is a precious piece of art. My son loves rainbows too. I love your music. I'm sitting here just waiting for my wonderful husband to come home from a business trip, and that music is a stress-reliever from all the stress I've felt all week. I praise God for my husband coming home quickly. Kathi
