Show and Tell Friday

This is Kelli's Show and Tell Friday! I look forward to this everyweek--I may not play every week, but I do enjoy looking at everyone's Show and Tell's :o) So, please go over to Kelli's and and leave your own link for something you would like to share and visit everyone there too.

For those of you that know me and have read here awhile know I collect cows. So, today, I am going to share a very special cow--she is one of my smaller ones--and she was placed on my birthday cake when I turned 25. She was given to me by a dear friend of mine---most of the cows I will share periodically was given by my dear friend Mary--Mary passed away not too long ago from breast cancer, and I miss her dearly--but I look all around my home and see all my cows that she had given me and I smile---- Last week for Show and Tell, at my daughter's school--Alexis brought the little cow in and told her class about my dear friend Mary.

Thank you all for looking:) My little cow is going back on her shelf now.

Isn't she just adorable? Look how tiny she is:)

Julianne,
A precious remembrance of your friend Mary...isn't it a mystery that a black cow eats green grass and gives white milk that makes yellow butter?

I enjoyed my visit with you...Betty

Your little cow is so cute indeed but what I like most of your blog is the background music of "Little house on the Prairie" I loved watching it on TV when I was a little child! The German title is "Unsere kleine Farm" which means "Our little farm" in English.

You really made me smile, thank you so much!

Best wishes from Germany,
Anita

What a cute little cow, and what adorable children you have. Thanks for the comment you left on my blog about my crocheted dress. I have another picture - my 5th grade school picture - that was made in the dress, but I decided not to post it. Maybe I should have. It has always been one of my favorite school pictures.
Have a great day!

So sweet, isn't wonderful to have such good memories of your friend all around you.

Thank you for visiting my show and tell today. Please do ask you grandmother if she still has her rationing books, and any other memoribilia; if she doesn't want to part with it, just make color copies. I would love to hear from you after you talk with her!

Your little cow is so darling, but what is even sweeter is how you have chosen to honor the memory of your dear friend by sharing her with all of us. Thanks so much. She was obviously very important and special in your life.
